Yeah, he was absolutely deadeye from 3pt range. He's been a very consistant 3pt shooter throughout his career. The catch and release he has is fast and pinpoint, even when being pressured.

From what I can see now the training camp fodder consists of Joel Berry, Jeff Caroll and Johnathan Williams, and then we have our 14 NBA roster guys, and the 2 ways Wear, and Caruso. I don't see Andre on either the Laker training camp nor the SB Laker roster.
Would be nice to see him pick up even a bit role NBA paycheck somewhere before he hangs up his sneakers for good.

He's cool.
It was a great story.
But I don't think the team is thinking of him.
There are other teams that might be able to use him, like the Cavs.

that's too bad. because deadeye 3pt shooters like him are few and far between. he and the team would prosper greatly with all the open looks he'd get from LeBron, Ingram, Zo etc.... driving in and collapsing defenses.
Inspirational story. Seems like a good guy. Not an NBA caliber player though.
he is more of a NBA caliber player then the likes of Ryan Kelly or Robert Sacre
Maybe. But I’m not sure I’d confidently say that.
I can. Andre Ingram did more in 1 game against the Rockets last year then Ryan Kelly or Robert Sacre ever did when they were with the Lakers, both are now out of the league while Andre bought joy to the fans with his nice unpredictable performance, Kelly and Sacre never excited us at any point in there time here.

All I saw was, 1 game. Just 1 game. He shot the ball well for 1 game and people got excited, that proves nothing.

He has a slow release, not sure that he would be a consistent shooter with minutes. I think that Svi should get the minutes as our dedicated 3 point sniper. He has a much better allround game and a much quicker release. _________________ R.I.P. Doc Buss

But Andre is out of the league too, so...
I'm a little surprised that anyone thought he had a future with the Lakers. Great story and all, but they were primarily scoring PR points. If he was really an NBA player he would've been called up much earlier. And not only did the Lakers not offer him a training camp spot this year, neither did any other team. Wish him the best, though. _________________ “Christ did not die to forgive sinners who go on treasuring anything above seeing and savoring God. I remember this Ryan Kelly dunk.It was a nice play, albeit in preseason. Look at our roster in that video and compare it to the talent and depth the Lakers have right now, day and night!

We can just re-run all the emotional tear jerker promos/interviews, etc. from last season. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

They should just pretend that the whole thing never happened. If reporters bring up Andre Ingram's stats from last season, Jeanie can just call it "fake news" and steamroll forward. _________________ Under New Management
