Lebron needs to and should play every preseason game imo, if nothing else so that his teammates can develop chemistry with him and also for his leadership and presence.
We don't have the built-in excuse of having our chemistry intact that the Warriors have. |
There's time during the regular season to build chemistry, though. I don't think he necessarily has to play in every game for it to build. It's building even now. |
We shouldn't get complacent and wait for the regular season to develop chemistry, especially since we have a tough schedule the first 10 games. Every game matters and should be valued.
Besides, it's not like Lebron has to play 30 minutes a game in the preseason. |
I don't think that would be complacent. The reality that we also have to deal with is that LeBron isn't exactly a young man and he's played in 8 straight Finals. I wouldn't mind seeing him sit out at least one preseason game, if not two. But it ultimately depends on how he feels and if he thinks rest would do him some good going into the real season. If he plays in all of the games in limited minutes, that's fine if he's up for it.

After years of beatdowns by the Clippers it got hard to watch.
Now there is hope.
It is an abrupt shift from tank mode to championship contender.

It's finally here!!!!!
My bold and novel prediction: a sloppy game with lots of highlights. 
I'm looking forward to seeing LeBron James trot out in a Laker uniform, and watching how LeBron and Rondo mesh with Kuzma, Ingram and Hart. Too bad Lonzo won't be on the floor for the long bombs and 500 yards per game passing the ball, but man we've got a solid set of receivers this year!
I'm also very curious to see the crazy uncles out there. Is Lance Stephenson actually going to show a Sveriously good outside shot in game situations like he does in practice? I strongly doubt it, but dang it's weird how he just doesn't miss a 3 in the shootarounds.
Beasley, does he still have the athleticism? How will McGee be utilized?
What about Zu, and will Svi Three see some playing time?
Last year in preseason, Denver wiped the floor with our rookies. They blew us out bad. Then they got cocky on us early in the regular season. Only to find out near the close of the season, in the heat of battling for a playoff spot, that our team of college aged kids could beat their asses.
And now we have LeBron. And an extremely deep squad. SO looking forward to tomorrow's game, and this upcoming season!! |

I'm guessing he comes out less cocky this time around. But that's not assured, he might be a slow learner.
It's so fitting we dashed his playoff hopes last year. IT passing him the ball with time expiring and a Laker win assured, knocking them into that ninth spot was just too good. Talk about getting the last laugh. |
