Hi All,

From the few minutes I saw of Joel Berry, I liked what I saw. I know he threw a couple bad passes but I liked that he is a confident shooter (and it goes in). Isn't he the guy who said he would be ROY? They said he was like MVP in the NCAA finals one year....something like that.

Does anyone think he has a chance to make the club?

I'm tired of watching Caruso clank easy shots. I'd rather see Berry as the third string point.

Alex Caruso senior year 60% TS 37% 3 pt shooting
Joel Berry senior year 53% TS 34% 3 pt shooting

Berry did shoot better as a Junior but it was still worse than Caruso.

The thing that annoys me is if LBJ didn't have his feud with IT... we could have had him instead.

But Caruso looks perfectly fine as a third string... he wasn't the problem... Beasley and KCP, and the absence of interior defense was.

3rd string PG? Sure.
Hopefully he doesnt need to play any minutes this year except in blowouts.
His size is gonna get him tortured on defense.
And I don't think he brings enough on offense to compensate for that.

Joel will not likely make the roster, but will be assigned to the SB Lakers. If he had Caruso's size, then he would have a real chance.

You honestly think IT would've been fine as the third string PG (and behind Rondo of all people) when he didn't even like coming off the bench last year?

Rondo/IT/Caruso
Lonzo/Hart
LBJ/Lance/Svi
Ingram/Kuzma/Beasley
Dwight/McGee/Moe

This is what I would have signed and I wouldn't have bothered with KCP

IT would have been fine behind Rondo... he's playing behind Murray right now.

Do you remember Rondo against IT last season? LBJ was not the only player that has a negative history with IT.

Not saying you’re right or wrong, but your comment made me laugh.

If KCP's shot starts falling... if Beasley can get untracked... if Lance keeps scoring efficiently as he has so far, I will be at peace with this.

I just think we should have signed him and Dwight for IT's instant scoring and Dwight would have been the perfect guy to platoon with McGee.

Passionate players will always go at each other. Who would have thought Lance and LBJ would end up together?

I think they both signed exhibit 10 deals? If so, they should be assigned to South Bay.
