Magic says Ingram is big time and will turn into the second star in the team after Lebron. Pretty much singled out Ingram as a future superstar after talking about drafting well last year(Zo, Kuz and Hart). He also said he expects ZO to have really good season and that Lebron and Rondo are having a positive impact on his mentality.

There is no way Magic and the FO don’t expect BI to be a future superstar and a cornerstone they did not trade him for PG and Kawhi when they had the chance they are expecting more from him and the other young guys as well.

What caught my attention the most was Magic speaking in a way that could lead to another fine. Is he allowed to speak on Tatum like that? I thought his comments on Giannis last year were harmless, and that ended up costing him. I don't know how this stuff is interpreted anymore.

Magic amazed by Tatum and says he will probably be an all star this year. Said Celtics are ahead of everyone in the East as they go 10 deep.

He kind of referred to Giannis future though his conclusion was that he will stay with the Bucks and try and lead them to the championship right? Tatum comment was just about raving him as a player.

For as much talk there is about trading Ingram and him not finishing games by LG posters, the FO and coaching staff is always on the other side . Keep sleeping tho

Wow. Magic showering praises on Celtics. Said Brad Stevens is probably the best coach after Pop in the NBA. And Ainge has done a tremendous job(jokes that even though he hates him). He thinks they are on par with GSW due to bench depth and it will be a 7 game series if both teams meet. He won't be surprised if Celtics win. Said Lakers have one of the best benches too.

I'm looking forward to Lonzo breaking Magic's assists records and having his jersey retired in Staples. Oh, and BI averaging 20 ppg.

Are you as certain as you were when you said “Bye Ingram” in a thread that asked which young core member gets traded this offseason?

Good to see him being realistic about other teams.. he is humble as are most FO people in the NBA.

What I wish for the Lakers and what I expect to happen don't always align.

Also, I appreciate the non sequitur.

Lakers own the NBA universe. You don’t ever see a president or owner of any other teams ever being interviewed on shows like this because no one gives a damn what they have to say. Warriors, Boston, Houston, whoever. They have the may have superior teams but people still really don’t give a (bleep).

Ed Rooney’s office.

NBA players will love seeing a basketball operation president going on ESPN and speak about teams especially when it’s Magic.

Does Mark Cuban from the mavs count, I’m sure Pat Riley of the Heat could pull it off too if he wanted to

It’s a good thing it doesn’t align cos you thought Dragan Bender was a better prospect than BI, you even went as far wanting to swap those two plus picks

Is that Tatum comment going to be considered tampering? It was kind of like what he said about Gannis.

Everytime somebody says something good about Ingram doesn’t need to spark an “I told you so” attack on those who have ever been critical of him.

Not at draft time. I thought Ingram was clearly the second best prospect. But I did like Bender coming out more than Jaylen Brown and Jamal Murray, which was a terrible call because he's busted, but I still don't see any great shakes from any young guy in that class except for Simmons.

I would take Dragan Bender and the #4 pick in the 2017 draft over BI, yes. I hope he proves me wrong.
