Sorry guys. As mentioned, I’m traveling today and couldn’t catch the game. Post your thoughts/recaps here. Love to know what happened!

So many easy baskets given up in the fourth. Is it a real concern or "just preseason"?

Hope Pio2u or another LG user is kind of enough to breakdown the game analysis.

Slender man going to give those Kings’ players nightmares tonight. Especially that one dude trying to inbound the ball.

By the end of this year, BI is going to be a star in this league.

We will not trade him, and I suspect we will go after Anthony Davis instead of Kawhi because that will give us such a killer front court, nobody will dominate us there.

This game really gave us a glimpse of what a polished BI could look like.

If you missed the game, the sequence you have to see is that series where Ingram either blocked or kicked the in-bounds pass three times in a row and finally stealing the ball off the next in-bounds attempt and getting sent to the line. STRETCH ARMSTRONG MOMENT!!

A little bit of both, I'm kinda worried our defensive effort won't be as good as last year but I have to see Zo out there first before drawing any real conclusions. Guy's play style and effort on both sides is really infectious.

The Good

- BI has progressed. Hit some clutch shots, played some D. That sequence where he denied the inbound 4x was awesome.

- LJB can still dominate

- Hart is money when he goes to the hole, should be your starter at SG

- McGee looks great

- Zu played some defense!

- We won

The Bad

- Lance still has some juice, but way too ball dominant

- Kuz has not progressed and is pressing

- Lonzo needs to play

- Beasley sucks

- KCP looks heavy and looks lost

- we can’t shoot 3s and don’t shoot enough of them

- Our FT% is going to be bad again this year

The Ugly

- SVI isn’t athletic enough to play at this level IMO, needs ALOT of work

- hopefully we haven’t installed our offense yet, the schemes aren’t promising

Positives:
- Slenderman, Zu, Hart, 1st half KCP
- Williams did well at small ball 5
- A needed win even if it’s preseason

Negatives:
- Shooting, shooting, shooting
- Interior defense
- 2nd half KCP, Svi having some trouble with NBA speed

It would have been nice to blow out the G league Kings considering the Lakers lineup but at least they didn’t lose the game.

On another note, I know he’s not the only one but it amazes me that Bagley can only go left. You would think these guys would have developed ability to go directions considering they got to the NBA. Just funny to see every year.

Randle at 23 still could only use his left hand.

Looks like KCP took the summer off.

Seeing LBJ cheering on the young guys from the bench is really inspiring. It must be a real thrill to make a great play and see the world's best player going nuts for you.

He doesn’t look heavy at all. If anything, his face looks leaner. He hasn’t played particularly well yet, but I don’t see how anyone can say he looks heavy when, if anything, he looks too thin.

KCP definitely looks slow and out of sync with the other players. I do not think he was in LA practicing with the other Lakers players and it shows. He may have thought he was going to start no matter what and did not really work on improving this off season and it is showing.

KUZ is definitely pressing but I feel he spent his time during the off season on building up his body and improving his defensive skills. It does not look like he spent a lot of time on 3 point shooting but did spend time on ball handling, passing, and defense. I am not really thrilled with the idea of him being a 5 as him bulking up is going to effect his 3 point shooting ability.

SVI is getting open but missing his shot. Just needs to calm down.

He gave up sweets and junk food and Magic was glowing at Thursday Before Media Day about how much weight he's lost.

KCP's a slow starter. Lets give him time, folks.

I stand corrected, he did look slow and physically different and I assumed he was heavier. In watching the highlights again, definitely thinner.
