Not true. Their ppg is close and Levert is more efficient. Levert is also a better defender. Brooklyn consider Levert as their best player.

You made this up

not true. i have been into their realgm and reddit forum and most there thinks levert is their best player.

That perception on realgm has shifted quite a bit since early season. Caris has some catching up to do if he wants to outshine the Net's lone all star. There are a few hold outs like you, but even they have been pretty quiet recently. Russell, Levert, and Dinwiddie are a very nice complement of guards and they are 22, 24, and 25 years old. The Nets are going to be a fun team for quite a few years if they can avoid the injury bug.

Current Levert(rusty from injury) is not better than Russel. But prior to the injury, Levert is their best player. If he can regain his form, Levert will take over Russell as their best player.

So sad how strongly you cling to that hope. Fwiw, levert wasn’t going to be an all Star at the level he was playing.

Honestly, think he would have if he continued. And he may become their best player. Their FO definitely holds him the highest.

That’s no slight at Dlo. I just think Caris can be better.

But once again it should never be a X vs. Y thing. They work great together.

Clearly just anway to diminish what he’s doing this season.

DLO started slowly, but starting SG shooting 31% from 3 and averaging 19 ppg wouldn't have made ASG. Offensively, it's not close since DLO started playing at a high level. He has 28/14 tonight and ryan_c didn't even touch the playmaking part during comparison. Says it all. DLO still has untapped potential which is scary. I have no doubts they'd hate to lose DLO rather than LeVert now.

When did you start caring about the Nets?

And yea, it's good for them to have all the players healthy.

Amazing game by D'Lo. Just wish they could have held on after going up 125-122.

Tough look with the pump fake and feet not squared there, maybe had an opening to the rim. Still a great game - 28/7/14 (new career high in assists); 24 in the 2nd half

I don't think 4th year Harden was as good as DLO outside drawing fouls. If DLO starts to draw fouls more consistently like tonight, his upside is unlimited. Too bad Magic became an obsessive hater due to his buddy Byron like so many casuals with dumb takes like "he wouldn't be in the league after rookie deal". Now they moved to next dumb take.

When Russell is sent to the Nets, I followed them. And i am impressed with the development of their players. They are also underdog and nobody expect them to make the playoff before the season starts. They have players Dinwiddie;Pick: 38th overall, Kurucs;Pick: 40th overall playing more than 20 minutes. I cheer for the underdog.

Everyone’s argument for how the Lakers messed up and traded the wrong guard in Dlo is they weren’t “patient”. Where is that same energy toward Lonzo in his second season?

Agree with this. ZO will be special too if we show patience.

I have this energy for Lonzo. Just not convinced the FO does...

Man, he showed signs of craftiness when we had him, but his use of handles, look offs and change of pace to get to the basket are already at another level from just two years ago. Pair that with his silky midrange game and solid 3 point shot, and you've got a real player.

Brilliant move to fake the back cut on Green and pop back out for the open three at just the right time.

We should have both right now. That would be a really good tandem. I just hate that we are deprived of ever seeing it.

It felt to me like LA was going to be able to put Zo, Dlo, George, and Bron together, and I really liked that in the short and long term.
