Rubio is so good for a winning squad. I hope Lonzo is as good at 27.

Paul Pierce played 19 years and was part of one title team.....but he is the expert in "championship DNA".

Not a fan of Golden State but its great sometimes to see a team demoralize the home team even with a hostile environment. Reminded me of our glory days not too long ago. We will back to that soon.

Kawhi Leonard . I really thought he was damaged goods. But maybe we should have traded entire roster for him for the Spurs. He looks good out there.

The Lakers could've traded the Spurs 10 championships and Pop still would've dicked around and traded Kawhi to any other team.

The Lakers tax is real with some front offices.

Functional depth is so key. Toronto and Boston have it, as does Utah out west. Houston and GSW have the top-end talent (outside of Kawhi), but their depth of talent has been eroded over the past offseason or two.. it'll be interesting to see how that top-end talent and depth of talent clash during the regular season.

Depth is great to eat up minutes during the regular season but elite talent/superstars win in the playoffs. Teams get a few days off between playoff games and rotations are tightened to only 8-9 players. Toronto had the depth to win top seed in EC during the regular season last year but didn't have a superstar such as Kawhi for the postseason... got swept out of the playoffs by the Cavs.

Good points, and good reason to go with Kawhi and the Raptors coming out of the ECF over Boston with Kyrie.

I had written off Dante Exum as another overhyped bust. Maybe not.

Toronto beat Washington without Kawhi. I just do not see any path for Washington to ever be more than chasing a playoff spot with Wall, Beal, and Porter on those contracts.

Philly escapes Orlando 116-115. Gordon misses the would be tying free throw with 10 seconds left....then Orlando gets 2 more shots up and miss both.
