Rondo doesn’t take no (bleep).

I don’t condone fighting but hey if you guys are gonna fight at least fight for each other 😂

Based on prior incidents, it would be surprised if it’s anything more than a 1 game suspension for those involved in the LAL/HOU skirmish.

That would be surprising to me, but I'd take it

I was there. From my vantage point CP3 CLEARLY went in first. Sour note to an otherwise fun game.

Consistently bad.

👍🏾

Lebrawn has a lot to do with that. Obviously not all on him but he hasn't played consistent defense in years

Yeah unfortunately LeBron's defense has turned matador. He only tries like 33% of the time now.

Just throwing, but not connecting on a punch is a one-game suspension.

Last suspension i could find for a connected punch was Royal Ivey for 3 games for punching Aaron Gray.

This dumb fight is just distracting from what an awful signing KCP was. That might have been the worst signing of free agency.

Wow that would be amazing, my respect for the NBA will be high if they let these guys back in to play after just 1 game.

Would have rather signed a 40 year old KBB.

The lakers paid 30M for 2 years of KCP in order to sign Lebron.

Can't win giving up 120+ pts a night, no matter how good offense playing. Lebron is checking out on defense. Taking Javele out was mistake.

Keep you're two best perimeter defenders, Hart and Zo out there in 4th, and get the ball back in Zo's hands on offense.

I was thinking that RE McGee as well...we need him at end of close games

Game was pretty predictable though based on its ebb and flow. Lakers could just not hit the momentum changing 3. And just about every time the lakers missed such a shot both Houston in this game and Portland Thursday would hit a shot...seemingly almost always a 3

In a way the game got boring to watch because the ebb and flow got predictable. Lakers in neither game could put a solid run to take control. In both games they were in it, get a slight lead, start to fall behind...then fall apart the last 2-3 minutes

We're not going to compete with teams in West with shootouts, or offensively. This team's success will rest on better team defense. Right now, we're not nearly as good as last year.

Magic is trying to build a team in mold of his showtime lakers, and he doesn't value defense as high. That's why JR wasn't as valued here with current management. But right now, I don't think single player turns this defense around... they're just not cohesive on defense.

Doris Burke said she was surprised at the lack of energy in the building for most of the night

Not me. It’s a known fact we have one of the worst home crowds. A historic debut can’t even get pretentious Hollywood folks out of their seats.

Lakers battled, rondo and CP are legit competitors, crazy to see them actually throw down. BI emotional and unhinged for no reason, maybe because he was getting schooled at this section of the game. He actually started pretty well, making some shots and defending but then he just couldn't stay in front of anybody defensively and checked out on offense. Overall just so many dumb fouls and missed free throws. Hard to ask for more made threes with no shooters, they had their chances just let it get away.

Depends on the game, and atmosphere, honestly. For me personally, the game has lost a bit of its excitement. But Staples was on fire for Kobe’s 60 in his final performance, and pretty much all season long that season for every shot he hit.

We’ve also been solid in the past in the playoffs, but we’ve never been one of those teams that wears all purple or gold shirts like other arenas in the post season with their specific colors.

Yes Staples was electric for Kobe’s final game, and fittingly so.

It’s just disappointing to me that we need Kobe’s final show or a game 7 for people to make some damn noise.

I thought the crowd really did a good job for most of the night and especially the LeBron dunk in the 1st quarter.
