I think we should win... but Ayton is going to exploit us for half the game... and Booker always scores a lot against us. If Williams can neutralize Ayton a little and Hart and Ball can slow down Booker... it should be a win unless Ariza or Anderson go off from three. |

He's tall and a career 38% 3 pt shooter. The only one who could guard him properly is Williams and he will be busy with Ayton.
I have my doubts that Kuzma or LBJ will be trying to lock him down.
If Ariza and Anderson can't score on us... there is a good chance they are done... lol |

Not writing this off as an easy win unless and until proven so by the score because the team we had last year was arguably better than theirs and none of the 3 matchups were easy wins. Maybe not a must win either, but you can't look past the Suns. More of a must show up prepared to jump at them from the opening tap and carrying it onward for 45 mins of solid ball. I cringe at the thought of some of the players considering this as the gimme of the first 4 gms.

But do the Lakers prioritize flopping enough to get that many FT's? I am not confident they do. I cant remember the last time (or any time) where a Lakers team prioritized flopping as a strategy. |
