The line for tomorrow's game is -4 Denver. Hopefully the Lakers can win behind a masterful game by Lebron. Otherwise it'll be a loss.

Denver is a top tier team with Jokic.

We were competitive in both preseason games vs Denver, Denver isn’t some team we are trying to catch up they are on our level or even below and are fortunate that Jokic is finally playing like a true superstar.

Great thing going into this game is that we got a ton of rest from the starters, even on a back-to-back. That Suns game was exactly what we needed to do. Kill em and rest up for the game tomorrow.

I'm glad the game is in LA. Back to back games are always brutal.
Fortunately most of our starters got some rest. I expect to see Zu and Beasley get a few minutes in this one.

Denver is extremely tough, they knocked off GSW earlier. It's going to be a hard-fought battle. Stealing one here would be a big step forward. Go Lakers!!

Jokic is playing really well. I'm looking forward to seeing him play.

If this game were in Denver it would be an automatic loss, but since it's here we have a real shot.

If Lebron won't start shooting well from 3-point range then he needs to stop shooting so many of them. Those misses will turn into fast break buckets for Denver.

This will be a tough one. Nuggets are playing well. Good balance of shooting and size on the frontline will be a difficult task.

Jokic really impressive so far. 23/11/7 so far. Lakers will need McGee to play extra mpg if at all possible. Because any mpg that Jokic is going against any backup lineup will be a serious disadvantage. Definitely not a small ball night.

And that is not even considering Milsap. Hopefully the Lakers bench can keep Plumlee in check. Lakers will need to be focused and working their asses off on the boards or this game will get ugly.

Lakers need a big effort on defense tonight. I will be hoping they are up to the task. Big early season win when they get it!

Unfortunately we don’t have enough at the C position to contain Jokic. The hope is that we can just run them up and down the court and tire him out so he struggles. Maybe if we drive to the basket frequently enough we can get him in foul trouble.

He’s going to have 25-15 probably, hopefully we shoot well.

Tbh the guys we’re missing are more important to us than the ones they’re missing

I still think we end Denver’s streak tonight tho.

This ones going to be tough on a back to back without Rondo and BI.
This years Denver team plays at a 1/2 court pace, letting then get back & settle on defense, and then they play the passing lanes. Offensively, they have Jokic and shooters and cutters.

So pace has to be in our favor ! We cant just get out and run and take bad shots. It has to be controlled by Lonzo, LeBron and Lance like it has in the past few games.

I think if we rebound as a group, switch and recover on defense, keep bodies fresh for player movement and ball movement on offense without careless turnovers, we should be in good position.

NUGGETS KEY BENCH PLAYERS
Hermangomez
Plumlee
Lyles

LAKERS KEY BENCH PLAYERS
Stephenson
Williams
KCP

Hope they get Caruso & Beasley minutes tonight as another body to throw at Harris / Murray and their bench bigs.

Agree. But we just need to get him breathing through his mouth again, and hopefully we'll be good.

They've been good at home (3 games). The only road game was against the clippers. And the clippers were in it till the 4th where the nuggets outscored them by 7. Game was decided by 9. But that was with Barton who got 19. Losing Barton will hopefully hurt them for weeks.

The most satisfying win last year was beating Denver at home as the crowd chanted "Murray Sucks!" Then seconds before the game ended IT disrespectfully threw him the ball.

I hate IT being on that team now, because he was part of a very satisfying moment.

Now, I hope Lonzo goes out and gets his own respect tonight, shutting Murray up on his own.

Need to ride the momentum from last night. We're going to have to double team Jokic which means rotations have to be quick for Murray and Harris...even Lyles can hit shots. If we play with tons of intensity and don't turn the ball over we can get this even if we're short handed.

I think we have to force turnovers. If its a half court game we lose.

I hope I'm wrong but I think this game is gonna show us that we still need a better backup center. Williams is OK but I think he's too undersized and not experienced enough.

Jokic is playing great but McGoat is playing even better. If beastmode McGoat shows up again, it's anyone's game. Line is Denver -3 so it's a toss up game. Very winnable for Lakers.

NBA won't let us go 0-3 at home...I expect Jokic to be in early foul trouble and for us to have a FT parade to make up for that nonsense against Houston and SA.
