None of the young guys are untouchable. Hart I think is the defacto SG in waiting, to replace KCP.

I highly doubt NBA execs are looking at our young core like they are nothing, I’m sure every day Magic and Pelinka get trade calls cause everyone in the league loves our young players.

They’re already here.

especially when you factor in how little money they make, freeing up a lot of cap space for us to chase after free agents.

Steph

non-franchise players, role players, good players are touchable

if your team CAN GET BETTER for the player in question, they are touchable...lol

I count 6 if you include Hart

Hart is turning into a very good player but what makes his value tremendous is his rookie contract we have him under for the next few years. You could get a better player in a trade but not at that bang for your buck price.

Does this mean Lonzo BI & Kuz are all tradable to you?

I think Kuzma and Hart should be untouchables, I would not trade Lonzo, but for the right price I'd move BI.

You forgot Leonard. Maybe the best in the NBA right now, hopefully soon, will be Laker.

I tend to agree with you...but if NO can't resign AD and ask for Ingram and Hart you wont do that? Sorry I would.

We are laughing at OP now because he/she created a new thread saying Josh Hart is untouchable. How funny would it be if 4 years down the road he becomes league MVP and we are all wrong? 😝

I've been saying this guy will be huge for us since last season. He's really making our FO look good when it comes to their drafting. This team won't reach their goals if they don't have guys like Hart on rookie scale contracts. It's also why our future picks are so important. We're eventually going to lose some key role players like a Hart, Kuz or Zo because we can't afford to just pay everyone. It will be important for our scouts to find some more draft gems to keep the roster balanced even if we do end up with the likes of AD, Durant or Kawhi alongside Bron.

Bron + superstar doesn't equal a championship if they don't have enough pieces around them.

Pretty incredible that the bottom end of a draft just a year ago netted two starters on a team with Lebron.

.

We can keep vital pieces, the Warriors know how to do it cause they are willing to pay extra money to put a winner on the basketball floor.

I respect your view op, but there are no untouchables (as far as the core) on our roster. Let's reevaluate our core, and revisit this topic, at the end of the year. They're trending in the right direction, but untouchable? Not yet.

I knew Hart would be a beast.

In my Opinion Ball,Hart and Kuzma are the future of this team. Bi I would only trade for KL,The Greek Freak or the number one pick for next year draft.

Is he untouchable like corporal Santiago?

Magic, if you gave the order that corporal Hart wasn't to be touched, then why'd he have to be transferred?

No one is untouchable because you can always (theoretically) trade that player for someone better. Except for the "best" player in the league, whoever that might be.

It would be a shame for a vegetarian to die on an island full of meat simply because everything is "uneatable".

A little validation for OP. Windhorst was on the Lakers Talk Poscast with Sliwa after last night’s game, and he said Josh Hart was the best player out of the 4 to play next to Lebron. He compared him to MoWill, Mario Chalmers, etc. I know that doesn’t sound like much of a compliment, but he wouldn’t shut up about Josh Hart.

On a different note, he felt like Harden started the fight. 🤣

Mo “Buckets” Williams was a pretty nice player and he was clutch.

You guys are taking it too literal. I've always viewed the "untouchable" saying as a compliment. It also means you better come correct if you wanna put in an offer for him. And since every GM tries to out do each other, you're not going to get a good offer. Hence, untouchable.
