They will make it interesting for sure. Carlisle makes great in-game adjustments and Luka has been great. Mavs also don't have a pick this year so they have no reason to lose. |

I'm not even going to suggest wins or losses, but they're still difficult and frustrating to watch as they were the last two years, but now they've managed to be that even with one of the best players in the league. That is pressing the boundaries of sanity. Someone happily predicted a win in Minny the other day and I immediately uttered "Hrm..." to myself. They looked every bit as dead and sluggish at Minny this year as they did last. Even I was expecting to beat the Minny's of the league with him on the team. His mere inclusion didn't have an additive improvement upon what we had last year, at least not yet.
If anyone is going to be held accountable for that, it WON'T be him. It'll be Luke and/or the others. That should be something in the back of the minds of both the ever-patient Luke crowd and the ever-patient don't-trade-da-yutes! crowd.

I just don't understand how Luke, having won two games with a certain style of play immediately reverts back to the style of play that has lost him 5 games thus far.
Here is hoping he doesn't make this about giving Rondo minutes even if it means losing the game. |

I expect big games from Lonzo and BI tonight
LeBron is LeBron he’ll give the usual 25-30pts 10rebs 8asts
I’m sure they spent the last couple days religiously going over rebounding, should see a better team effort on the glass tonight
Luke needs to match McGee with Jordan’s playing time as equally as possible as hes a terror on the boards
I would like to see better communication with McGee and the guards when defending the pick & roll, especially going up against a guy like Doncic
Dennis Smith Jr has been tearing it up.. His quickness will be a tough match up for our perimeter defense . Will have to do our best to keep him in check. |

And I watch those real ER programs on Disc Health where they crack open peoples' chests every other episode. Good Cop, Bad Cop is worse than a thoracotomy.

If they won, it'd be because Carlisle outcoaches Luke just like how Pop has outcoached Luke twice now. Mavs and Spurs do not have better rosters than Lakers.
