I've noticed that as well, but it's important if you look at it positively. The team needs to gel and grind it out. So many turnovers tonight. Glad we got the w. |

Our formula for winning right now is to get ahead by double digits late in to the fourth quarter, then hang on by dear life and pray we win by a possession or 2 after letting it all fall apart. We managed to follow the formula tonight, good job! Now lets try to do it again against Portland on Wednesday. |

The good news is we will get better as they get more organized and Luke feels less pressure as the wins start piling up |

In a way it's a positive that we're winning these close games because that's what good teams do. _________________ Lakers 49ers Chargers Dodgers |

Some fans probably don’t remember that the Shaq/Kobe Lakers always had these kind of games then we would pull them out, so yeah definitely a good sign.

Having Luke as a coach adds an extra degree of difficulty. We get leads because of talent, and then lose that because we don’t really have a plan, have awful substitution patterns, etc. |

Lakers would be 0-2 this week end against slightly better teams. I take the W's but I'am not really impressed. |

But these ARE good for this team, as it teaches them how to grind it out at the end of games. Small steps! _________________ Never argue with stupid people! They will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience!! - Twain |

miscommunications, bad passes, poor shot selection, bad decision making...
these guys need more practice, is the coaching staff holding truly effective practices with these guys?
that's the question... |

Lakers offense in the Lebron era: dribble up, pass to Lebron, run clock to 5 seconds and then either bully his way to the lane or kick out for a low percentage shot.
What's the point of having a playbook, or even a Coach? |

We weren't known as team lightswitch for nothing.
Still have fond memories of being down double digits to the Spurs multiple times in the playoffs, only for Kobe to flip the switch in the 4th and hero ball us to the W. |

Late game last 4-5 minutes of play is some very stupid decision making and horrible shot selection even on layups. Seemed like tonight they were trying to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory with terrible free throws and missed put back layups. Game shouldn’t have gone down to the wire like that and needing a sportscenter highlight-esque block from Tyson to win the game. I’m pretty surprised at how poorly LeBron has played late game in clutch time scenarios. Tonight’s dunk was badass but I think he knows he should be making these free throws and by not hitting them when it’s needed he looks visibly frustrated. He’s more than capable of closing but for some reason this season so far he’s looked non-King James-esque in late game “superstar takeover time”.. Hoping that changes as the season progresses.
More intelligent basketball in the 4th quarters hopefully going forward. _________________ "We are the goodest." - Shaq ESPN interview |

Youngsters are getting good experience in tight situations and we are already over .500. All good news for our playoff run. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

We already have wins over two of the best teams in the Conference (Portland and Denver) and haven't even gelled yet. We're going to be the team NO ONE wants to face come playoff time. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

They will get better and they will be a different team at the end of the season then they are today. Alot of talent on the team, they are just young. |

That’s the thing, our Lakers coach doesn’t have a playbook hence the team reverts to iso, however Luke can’t even coach the team to run an iso set properly, the players are all over the floor that spacing is non-existent to operate a proper iso play. Byron Scott actually runs a better iso set than Luke. _________________ Tacos |
