Right, because it worked out so well for other players asking to be traded here. NO would take the best package and tell Davis to enjoy his new city. There’s new upper management in NO now.

Hayward has really low value right now. I am curious to see other competing offers.
Tatum has been underwhelming as well but I'm sure he's off limits.

AD will be a Laker... The NBA is totally vested in the LeBron narrative and they will do whatever it takes to give LeBron his opportunity to dethrone the Warriors by next year.

With that said... AD to the Lakers for a package including Ingram is already done. Ingram had his opportunity. It's taking him too long to develop.

Giannis is the best player in the league and he doesn't even have a jumper.

Hard to see how that works cap wise. LeBron will make something like 40 million next year, and Davis will make at least 33 million. Don't see how they fit those two with another max free agent.

If we sign a max free agent we wouldn't have enough salary to trade for him.

Please explain? There aren't even 5 other 21 year olds as developed as BI in the entire NBA. He compares very well to other 21 year olds who have had success in the NBA

At 21 years old:

Brandon Ingram : 16ppg on 48% shooting and 40% 3pt

John Wall : 16ppg on 43% shooting and 7% 3pt

Gordon Hayward : 12ppg on 36% shooting and 35% 3pt

Tony Parker : 15ppg on 45 % shooting and 32% 3pt

Vince Carter (22) 18ppg on 45% shooting and 29% 3pt

Kobe Bryant : 22ppg on 47% shooting and 32% 3pt

Ingram on his extension
(if we are going into fantasy scenarios)

We can make enough salary

BI 7.3
Lonzo 8.7
Hart 1.9
Kuz 1.9
1st Rounder ~2.0

=21.8

x1.25 + 0.1

=27.3

for

AD

27.1

Not ideal but it works

Or we wait until 12/15

BI 8.7
Lonzo 7.3
Room Exception ~4.5
Vet Min ~2.5

Probably not really realistic but i would do it without thinking...actually any combination of two players from ( Ball, Kuzma, Ingram, Hart ) for me its acceptable.

2 wouldn't be enough. They'll ask for 3 or 4. Plus picks...

It is a fantasy if we think that NO will trade for Ingram with a max salary. If Davis is traded they will look for picks and ending salaries.

If I'm NO, the last thing I want is a max/near max BI (as of now his production/impact isn't worth that). I don't think our young guys have shown value equal to AD.
