Realistically we will not get a 2nd or 3rd seed....so we should avoid the 4/5th seeds to avoid GSW in the 2nd round and obviously avoid 8th seed to face them in the 1st round.
Better to coast into a 6/7th seed and keep Lebron fresh and everyone else healthy rather than run everyone to the ground just to end up with a 4/5th seed and get bounced earlier _________________ Billions Billions Billions |

Not to King James. Better to not have HCA versus Denver or SAS than having HCA in round 1 and then facing GSW next _________________ Billions Billions Billions |

Too early to worry about this... we don't know who will be the strongest by the end of the season.
If Boogie plays well and gives them an all star quality center then you don't want to face them... but you will have to play them at some point anyway.
If Boogie isn't the same then I think we have as good a chance as any team to upset them.
We should just try to win as many games as possible.
Considering we beat Portland and Denver already, I don't see any reason we can't compete for a top four seed. |

let's just make the playoffs first
I agree with you though it'd be a hell of a lot nicer to end up at 7th than 8th. _________________ one dog goes that way the other dog goes the other way |

You don't want to play at altitude 4 out 7 games.
Denver will only get better once IT and MPJ return.
They might be the team I want to see least unless Boogie plays at full strength. |

Hell no. We need homecourt advantage for this young squad. I am rooting for 2nd or 3rd seed. |

6th or 7th? Why such low expectation? especially after landing TC? I was thinking 2nd seed because Lebron likes to be in that position. He doesn't want to give it his all in the regular season so he could save energy for the playoffs. _________________ Playoffs is good enough. - Jeanie Buss 2024 |

I don't think that the two or three seed is out of reach. Picking up Chandler bumped up my assessment of the team a notch. I like the roster construction a lot better, plus Chandler has a longstanding reputation as a good locker room guy. It all depends on injuries and the like, but we can hang with Denver, Portland, and San Antonio if we stay reasonably healthy and keep playing defense. |

Nope. I want the 2nd seed. Think it will be between us and the Nuggets. Blazers aren't better than us and I hope Rockets continue to struggle defensively due to the players they lost last summer even though they got their defensive coordinator back. _________________ Showtime 2.0 |

What? We have one 4 of our last 5 games. Even if we win only 2 out of 3 from here on out, that may be enough for second seed. Second or third seed are perfectly doable. |

If we can do better than a 6th or 7th seed, then settling for a lower seed just to avoid GSW in the 2nd round would be cowardly. Not exactly the right way to build a championship culture. _________________ Lakers 49ers Chargers Dodgers |

Yeah I agree, and if Cousins doesn’t comeback at a level he’s capable of then the #1 seed is up for grabs, Im gonna assume the Warriors will go on a losing slide at some point, this team is good enough to capitalize if and when that happens. |

Phil Jackson avoided the Jazz in the first or second round and won 5 titles with us. |

I would definitely prefer a 4 or 5 seed with a better chance to win the first round. 6 and 7 seeds lose in the first round a lot more often. 7 seeds almost never get past the first round. You need to get past the first round first before facing the Warriors later.
And this team has too many young players that have never been in the playoffs. I don’t trust them to overcome the odds and get it done with a lower seed. They need the 4th seed and the home court advantage. |

Winning 2 of 3 games is a 55 win pace. Put the glasses down!
We are among the healthiest teams in the NBA too. |
