Wonder who it will be for if a deal gets done on Dec 15...

I would trade KCP plus Bonga and Svi for Wilson Chandler and maybe a future second round pick. This would give us at least an extra couple million in cap space to add to the additional $5ish million extra we would have. So this would probably give us $7 million in cap space next year after signing a max deal. |

How would Wilson Chandler find playing time here or help us with 3-point shooting or defense? _________________ Lakers 49ers Chargers Dodgers |

Same here, but not sure I would include Svi, we don’t need them to turn him into another Reddick, but if Wilson Chandler can regain his previous offensive explosive I would do it cause we are in win now mode and we need guys who can help us now. |

First:
Wilson chandler 3pt% this year = 50%
KCP 3pt% this year = 28%
Second, KCP is only getting 15 minutes per game last few games. You don't even need to play a second shooting guard because you have Hart and Lance
Lonzo-Rondo
Ingram-Hart
Lebron-Lancce
Kuzma-Lebron
McGee-Chandler |

Crazy to trade Svi and Bonga for a washed up player that is a worse version of skills we already possess.
I wouldn't even trade one of them. |

Package Bonga and Svi? Cost controlled second rounders don’t need to be sent out. Plus we might be onto something, especially with Bonga. Also we don’t need to trade a backup 3&D KCP. If we do trade KCP, it should be part of a Blockbuster core player trade, just to make salaries match. That’s probably it. |

I think an extra 2 mil or 3 mil could make a difference in getting a solid role player next year along with a max player plus we can get a future first or second round pick from philly by adding svi/bonga. |

Chandler has played like 5 games this year, constantly hurt, is out of shape rn. Idk if he’s a legit good shooter
Just saying
also, no Bonga |

I agree with the fact that KCP > Chandler, I was just thinking more long-term with trying to get an extra pick out of this for the future and trying to clear up an extra couple mil for cap space next year.... along with the fact we don't really need KCP because we have depth/should tighten our rotations as the season moves along. |

Chandler's a lifetime 34% 3 pt shooter
He's shot 6 shots this season.
He changes nothing meanwhile Svi was the best shooter in college last season and Shamet was the 2nd best shooter.
So we essentially would be giving Philly the two best shooters in college as well as our unicorn PG find in Bonga.
For a journeyman 6 foot 8 player?
Why on God's green earth would we do this? |

Another one of those “name” fallacies.
He’s not good. People get fooled by the name Wilson Chandler and haven’t seen him play recently. |

I was really down on KCP, to begin the season. He's played better, but only in comparison to the absolute dumpster fire level of play, in the beginning. That said, the Sixers possibly being interested in KCP doesn't necessitate a trade being in the works. That said, if the possibility comes up, and IF Chandler is on the table, then I'd do that trade, too.
I would NOT include Svi, or Bonga, in any potential trade. Unless it's to match salaries, there's no reason to give potentially good players away, when the initial interest in from the other team. Philly is sniffing around KCP. The Lakers aren't sniffing after Wilson Chandler. Lakers are good with wings, atm. _________________ ZOOM!!!!!!!!!!!! |

give them KCP for Fultz and the 2021 Heat 1st and Chicago's 2019 2nd (the one we game them for Bonga) |

I would just keep KCP unless they included some draft assets. They have no interest in moving Redick (I assume). |

But why are we trading an expiring 3 pt shooter who will regress to his mean? Unless we get a crazy bunch of amazing assets, I don’t get it. |

Hilarious all the love Svi is getting. The guy is shooting 14% from 3 and the guy is supposed to be a shooters. Not to mention he's got 0 athleticism and looks like he's running in quick sand every time he's on the court. |

if you trade for Fultz or any player....when could we trade them? Fultz has all kinds of issues, but he could still make a trade package look better if we try to get a star at the deadline instead of waiting for the summer. |

So, a three-way trade in which the Lakers get draft choices (and players to release), Sixers get KCP and the third team get Fultz????
I am not saying that I believe it would happen but I could see Magic parting with KCP if there were good draft choices coming back. _________________ “When the debate is lost, slander becomes the tool of the loser.”

They want our guy, not vice versa. How does this conversation go? We want KCP and will give you a scrub but only if you throw in more cheap assets that we want to take a flyer on? |
