KCP would lose his early-bird rights and has power to veto any trade. Would he accept going to Philly? Would LeBron ask him to do it as a favor to him?

Wonder if it’s a coincidence that this came out simultaneous to the Melo talk. If lakers are really interested in Melo...no bueno.

Actually I think he spent time in Kuwait City as a child and has a few gas guzzlers in his garage, so I could see the Kuwaitis being interested in KCP’s movements.

Thank you so much for clearing that up. I had no clue who OP was talking about.

The Philadelphia 76ers made a blockbuster trade for four-time All-Star Jimmy Butler over the weekend and their next target could be Los Angeles Lakers guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope according to the latest trade rumor.

In the latest episode of “The Ringer NBA Show,” Kevin O’Connor reported that the Sixers are monitoring Caldwell-Pope’s situation with the Lakers.

Quote:
“Philadelphia still has some work to do to get to (the Finals). I mean, they traded arguably their best shooters aside from JJ Redick. Now their depth is depleted, they need to add shooting. I had in my article on Saturday that they still retain interest in Cavs wing Kyle Korver. I’ve since heard that Kentavious Caldwell-Pope on the Lakers is a guy they could have eyes for.”

That is what it stands for. KCP is toxic to peoples' health. The CP in his name stands for Crude-Petroleum.

Keep in mind that every one shoots lights out when playing against the lakers and every lakers suddenly forgets how to shoot when they join this team so we really need to add 0.5% to the 3 pt rating anyone leaving the lakers and deduct that from anyone joining the lakers.

Hilarious all the love Svi is getting. The guy is shooting 14% from 3 and the guy is supposed to be a shooters. Not to mention he's got 0 athleticism and looks like he's running in quick sand every time he's on the court.
?
They want our guy, not vice versa. How does this conversation go? We want KCP and will give you a scrub but only if you throw in more cheap assets that we want to take a flyer on?

lol Trying to figure out that one, myself. That's one ass backwards conversation/negotiation. I mean, maybe if Jim Buss was still here, then...

Kcp is a charity case. He’s here because of his agency. He’s not very good and the Lakers have Hart who is better

Boggles the kind he’s making 12 million

He’s not very good is solely you’re opinion, the Sixers are interested in him means others are likely also Interested, he is a good player who’s talent is being hidden this year because we have load of players who display offense on this team.

I'm not fond of how KCP fits on this team, but I'm even less fond of this trade.

Screw throwing in Bonga too. Better see what we actually have before shipping him anywhere.

Also wing players don't age well. Few players age well after multiple injuries.

No thanks.

There's probably some fan on a Sixers' board claiming that the Lakers are going to buy out Casey P. and that the Sixers will snap him up.
