We don't do revenge games, but we do specialize in disappointing games.

Sunday afternoon game. That's usually for the JV team the Clippers. The Vegas line is Lakers -8.

This should be a blow out win, that game in Orlando was very frustrating to watch and I’m sure the team is still pissed off at that lose.

I'm kind of glad this game is so close after the loss @ Orl. It should still be fresh on their minds and should be looking to redeem themselves after that no-show. Have to win these home games against weaker teams.

Mike Trudell
@LakersReporter

Since giving up 130 points at Orlando, the Lakers beat Miami 113-97, Cleveland 109-105 and Utah 90-83, allowing an average of 95 points. Their next opponent is Orlando, at home on Sunday; the Magic should have L.A.’s defensive attention.

Buoyed by this strong run on the defensive end, albeit against lower ranked offenses, LAL have improved to 11th overall in defensive efficiency. [They’re 9th on offense]Mike Trudell added,

Injury Report

Preview
: Magic (9-10) at Lakers (11-7)
The Los Angeles Lakers have won seven of eight games for the first time since the end of the 2012-13 season, and Sunday they'll face the team that handed them their only defeat during that stretch.

"They've made a commitment to themselves, and to our group, what they want to be defensively this year and they're working toward it," Lakers coach Luke Walton said after the win against Utah.

Not on Sundays following T. Giving, at home.
lol.
what is neat about the stats is Lakers way up in scoring, ahead in FGP and 3PP. The defensive grit the last few games has been reasonably impressive. The Guards, all of them, need to hit their open threes. Turning the ball over at a high rate is the biggest problem lately.

LBJ - 38 pts, 8 RB, 7 assists
Ball - 14, 8, 8
BI - 19, 6, 3
Kuz - 16, 4, 3

Centers: 14 rebounds

LA 114, OM 104

Hopefully they have a solution how to contain Vucevic, especially when he is hitting those outside shots. I hope Luke will not resort to playing small ball and putting Kuz on the Center spot again just to chase Vucevic outside the paint. They tried it against Magic in their last game and it didn't work, Vucevic just destroyed him in the paint.

Ball and Ingram should be aggressive again like they did against the Jazz but play smart at the same time and avoid those TOs.

Walton should put Lebron together with the 2nd Unit as PG, where 3 of our shooters are playing (KCP, Hart, Lance) instead of Ingram.

Would like to see Lonzo bounce back strong from what was his worst game of the season in the previous meeting.
