if GS is at 100%, neither does. id give Jordan and Kobe the best shot at beating them with this team out of the 4 though

Only 34-year-old that wins a title with this team is Jesus.

If you swapped Hart to the bench and had 2012 Kobe pre-injury as the Starting 2, then they have a definite chance.

If kobe could have won with this team, then we are going to win this season.

Jesus passed at 33 and wouldn't qualify to play from Heaven.

The NBA will make an exception.

No one knows exactly how old Jesus was when he died. 33 is the most common guess, but different interpretations from Biblical information will range from 30 to 50.

Of course, we have "the chosen one" so we might be OK.

I'd say Lebron is the best of the three at making trash teams competitive, but the others are better at making good teams great. I'd qualify this team as pretty trash without Lebron, so he's the best for this team. That said, no one, not even basketball jesus himself is winning with this team against a Warrior team with 5 All-stars in their starting lineup (eventually).

34 year old Jordan was scoring champ, all defense 1st team, and unexplainedly 2nd behind Malone in MVP voting. Lonzo, Brandon, Javale/Tyson and him are an elite defensive team, that gives GS matchup issues. Kobe that 2013 season was 27-6-6 before the injury and all defense 2nd team. but what i like about these 2 is that they give this team a post presence which would help us more than another perimeter ball handler which James has been so far. and we are a really deep team, especially if Svi and Moe come around, so we have a shot at outlasting them in a long series.

a lot of factors go into a real life series like form, injuries, suspensions, adjustments, but everyone at their 100% best, id give Jordan and Kobe more chances than James and Magic. not to say these 2 would have small chances, in fact, i think we give the Warriors a lot of trouble in a series as presently constructed

I say this is the best answer in this thread. No way do I see this team as a championship roster. This team is a strong playoff contender and that's because of James. I mean who is the 2nd best player? Ingram? Kuzma? That's no championship roster.

Just look at all the NBA champions and there was a clear cut number 2 and that person is usually an allstar himself.

Spoiler alert!

We know when he was born (around King Herod's death): Matthew 2:1, 22
We know what age he was baptized and began his 3.5 year ministry: Luke 3:21-23
We know the month of his death: Exodus 13:4
We know the day of his death: Matthew 26:2
We know the hour of his death: Luke 23:44

Jesus was 33 years old when he died.

Kobe didn't make an all-defensive team in 2013 and was a defensive negative by that point.

No not the same. Kobe at 34 will ball out to prove he’s still got it. LeBron on the other hand is a much unselfish player, he will actually uses his mind and knowledge more to utilize his teammates than just get his at this stage of career.

I'd say this roster is roughly a million times better than the team Kobe lost to the suns with....

Jordan
I wouldn’t bet against a Jordan-led team, period. He’d feast on teams today on both ends of the court EASY, plus his credentials @34 speak for themselves. He’d be MVP, DPOY, scoring champ and FMVP on this Lakers team - such is his GOAT impact.

Magic
See: Jordan, minus the scoring.

Kobe
I think he’d lead this team out of the west for sure. Bean made his career out of lighting up teams like Denver, Portland, the Rockets & Queens of old, etc. Nothing he couldn’t have handled with a Harden-led Houston, flawed OKC, and burnt out Golden State. Let’s not forget that the Lakers were the #1 seed in the WEST back in ‘08 before Bynum went down & the Gasol trade, on a team with a lot less talent than this current squad. So it’s something he’s actually done before.

LeBron...
is new to the West and his story is still being written. We’ll know by the end of the season.
