Hi everyone,
This is my first thread here on this forum. I really like all the guys here and I am reading it every single day. Maybe it is not so interesting for admins so please remove the thread if necessary.
I want in this thread to see how other Lakers fans are watching Lakers games. What is your routine and etc.
For me it is little bit hard because I am from Croatia. So I have to wake up around 4.30 am to watch it, sometimes even before. I am kind of old school so I like maybe to watch some old Laker basketball like Magic, Kobe, Shaq, Pau. Maybe some mix or something. Also I have a habit to listen some songs like " I love LA" and "Welcome to LA". It gives me some hype and feel that I am there. Also there is always ESPN boxscore open to watch along with game forum thread of course. Also I am watching many pregame shows or YT videos. And of course Kobe jersey is always ready.
I never been on Laker game. It is a big dream and it will come true one day. Just too much work right now. Lakers are big part of my life. Its a daily routine like paying bills, eating, working out or going to take a coffee. Lakers are part of the life and I support the team always and always , doesn't matter we win or lose.
Would love to hear from all of you about your routine. Maybe even to get some ideas for myself. Cheers. LETS GO LAKERS!!! |

I don’t have a specific game routine, but I’d like to say thanks for sharing! You sound like an awesome Lakers fan! |

I either watch it online or on cable, usually at home and for playoff games at the casinos or bars or atleast thats what I remember lol.
When I go to the gym I watch the game on my cellphone while lifting and walking on a incline.
Make a few post on LG, scream at the tv, wonder why I watch a team that makes me so mad and do all over again |

East coast so it's always late like close to midnight so me, TV and couch with blanket ready
Got my Lakers mug, Lakers house slippers, sometimes Kobe or BI jersey or before, Lin Lakers shirt
Alcohol only if off next day, Hennessy or Johnny Black neat these days, Coors light otherwise

I always watch Lakers games at home. I prefer to watch Lakers games alone, and don't particularly like to watch games like at sports bars, restaurants, etc.
I usually have one of my laptops on my lap while I'm watching and commenting on the Game threads whenever possible. In the game threads, I feel like I'm watching the game with die-hards, and I personally think the game threads are a riot and a ton of fun. The reaction on the game threads after each missed free-throw or missed 3pter or Shaqtin play is hilarious.
Of course all of this is dependent on their not being a new episode of 90-Day Fiancee or anything like that, cause then my girlfriend rules the TV. |

That's an awesome routine especially for being so many time zones away. - These days I don't get to watch as many games live as I used to, so I end up NOT being on LG during game time, watch the game later in the evening, and then catch up on LG afterwards. |

I've been a Laker fan for many many decades, but for me there simply entertainment that I fit into my schedule when it's convenient. I'm not as fanatical about them as I was in years past, but I feel that way about sports and spectator (as opposed to participatory) activities in general. But even at my most interested, I cant say I ever had a routine |
