Phil realises his substitutuons dont work.
You cannot expect production with Sasha,Kobe,George,Walton,Mihm. Mihm is hurt and George nor Walton can play PF. Walton and Sasha should never play at the same time. Luke should not play period.
I believe Phil is to blame for this teams underchievment as much as these players.
In the 2nd quarter tonight, Walton has killed the momentum for 6 minutes. I mean how much more damage has to be done by a player before he is taken out. I've seen Phil watch Kwame fumble the ball 5 times and leave him in there. Phil has taken out Kobe for 6 minutes after going 8 for 8 in the first quarter.
If Phil can't reshape his coaching by next year (yes, he deserves a year of f'ing up) I say we start looking at alternatives. If he can't realize Puke,Sasha,George, and a hurt Mihm can't play at an NBA level together he should be removed as head coach.
I like Phil, but I am not sure he is putting this Laker team in a position to succeed. What do you guys think? |

No, but I would like to avoid 15 minutes of Walton. I would like to see Phil not play Kwame 35 minutes. I would like Phil not to play Sasha/Walton/hurt Mihm at the same time. These are things good coaches dont do and as a good coach, i expect better from Phil. Is that too much to ask from someone who makes 10M? |

It would also be nice to see less of his son _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” ― Elie Wiesel |

Jackson smoked weed with B Walton in the 60s...
That must be the explanation why he PJ plays Walton any minutes at all....Puke Walton
I understand playing Sasha to rest Kobe or Smush, but theres no reason to play Puke...
Smush/Sasha
Kobe/Sasha
Lamar/George
Cook/Lamar
Kwame/Mihm
Not that complicated Phil... _________________ Kevin Love. 2015. |

Give Bynum 10 minutes a game and I accept are shortcomings as a team. Right now, I feel that we are losing momentum in games, and losing games altogether because of Phil's idiotic decisions at times. |

It's post-All Star break. Phil will tighten his rotation. He will give more minutes to rotations that will fit what he wants. But I still don't know if anyone knows exactly what he wants.
But, you will see units packed with bench players getting more minutes. Phil is still trying to find a higher energy bench unit that can keep the game in check on both ends of the floor in order to spell the starting five.
Unfortunately, Luke figures to be a major part of that bench unit since he is the only facilitator-type player despite his slumping the entire year. And, no Sasha is not a facilitator-type yet. He doesn't have the skill set or experience or natural game that would cast him in that mold.
The two things that will determine the fate of the Lakers down the stretch and into the post season are Phil finding a good second unit and consistency from Odom and Brown. I don't mention health because that's a concern for every team out there. |

As long as those players do not get into foul trouble.... against the Hawks, LO played 37 seconds in the 3rd quarter. Too many of the bigs get into early foul trouble (ie Mihm, Kwame). |

We will continue to blow leads until....
We learn how to control the freaking defensive glass...
We allow too many second chance points. |
