Please.
Magic has to take his fair share of the blame here too although I'm sure it will all ultimately land at Luke's feet.
Outside LBJ, those FA signings were horrendous last summer.
Useful players such as Lopez that could've been signed cheaply were discarded.

Shocking that a flawed roster with overrated young players and bad health ends up not being very good.

This is beginning to look like yet another lost year, but the FO did this to themselves. This roster wasn't going anywhere anyway.

Have patience, unfortunately you'll have to watch the rest of this clown show for a few more months. Lakers will have a new coach next year, many new players who aren't the all meme team, and a new direction. The front office gave themselves another off season after they did things halfway last time.

Anyone with any comprehension of the Lakers knows that they are not in a position now to trade assets like young players or draft capital for future salary commitments.

elaborate please.

From where I sit, I think this roster is on Magic and Lebron.... because from all quoted accounts, it was Magic and Lebron who agreed this team needed some "dogs" on the roster. So they went from shooters to "playmakers".

Unfortunately, none of the young guys have really developed their jumper. Kuzma shooting sub 30% on 3s, Hart below league average now, and Lonzo (goes without saying).

Ironically, the best 3pt shooters on this team are Lance and Rondo (LMAO!)

Most of us predicted that this team would win 46-50 games. Checkout the LG poll at the beginning of the year. Given the injuries and suspensions, I think the team is performing as expected. They are really good when healthy and getting transition points in the paint -- especially when they play solid defense.

On the other hand, their inefficiency from the three point and charity line is very obvious when they don't get points in the paint. Without Rondo (a true point guard as contrasted to Lonzo's AAU push the pace style) and LBJ this team is average at best.

I'm still waiting for a 20 game stretch with everyone healthy to judge the team. Let's hope we get to see that sooner than later.

Talk about overreaction. The team was in 4th seed before Lebron went down. They are also missing Rondo who stabilized the second unit. It's not very fair to blame that on Jeanie.

With Lebron, any team would be there. Heck, I think that's still too low. We should have been first place. Without Lebron is when you get to see the real coaching. Just like how Lue won the championship but he got fired after Lebron left. It showed you how much credit people gave Lue for coaching the Cavs to a championship.

Any half witted person could see that Luke hasn't done anything much as a coach to improve this team based on how the team has been playing without Lebron. Luke's 39-4 game winstreak at GSW wasn't so impressive when you consider that Mike Brown coached the Warriors to a 12-0 record in the 2017 playoffs. He would have won the championship easily too if Kerr didn't decide to come back right before the NBA finals. So yea, all the coaches from GSW are garbage, with that team even I could win a championship coaching them.

I saw Sedale Threatt, Jr in Roman J. Denzel, Esq (movie) and I wonder if he can play like his father (biologically at least). Remember when Magic retired from HIV and we were suddenly stuck with nothing to cling to? Even then we had a Sedale. Now we got Lonzo. OY!
