Lets say its a given we sign a Max or near max FA this off-season:
Kawhi,Durant,Klay,Harris,Middleton,Vucevik etc...

We are now near or above the cap so our only option for bringing in a 3rd star is via trade. Obviously AD would be the guy to target but what is plan B? Who can we realistically target in trade if a AD trade wont happen?

I would say any team that is out of playoff contention would consider rebuilding by trading their star players. Looking at current standings, you have Wizards (Beal, Wall), Pistons (Blake), Cavs (Love), Grizzlies (Conley, Gasol). None of those guys are very appealing.

additional pool of players would be 2020 FAs that a team would rather trade than resign or let walk. That list is also pretty weak
