Long shot. However, I still believe Kyrie just didn’t want to get stuck in Cleveland with a bad team. So he acted up and used the trade talk as his get out of jail card.

There is a better chance at a Tristan Thompson union with LeBron in L.A. then there is with Kyrie.

No that was just Kyrie being a man and admitting he made mistakes on his part.

I always felt the whole perception of Lebron as this low key pariah was BS and the whole Kyrie drama was more to do with Kyrie than Lebron. Yes the media makes what ever team Lebron is on all about him but he cant control that.

Kyrie for Isaiah Thomas and the draft pick which turned into Collin Sexton was one of the greatest heists of all time for the Celtics.

Kyrie was young and thought he was the man. I thought he was a bit arrogant in Cleveland. I'm viewing this year as a hard reality check for Kyrie - Lebron had to go to Miami and learn from Wade what it took to win a championship and he tried to bring that knowledge back and pass it on to Kyrie but Kyrie, like most young people, thought he knew it all.

This would certainly help with the whole "scoring the ball" problem we got around here.

I'm not going to put hope into it but it would be an interesting fit. If this is legit humility and if he has matured as a teammate, what better example for these young guys to see the new relationship between Kyrie and LeBron? I'll take a career 39% 3pt shooter with Ball having his back on D.

I don't see why anyone is reading this and thinking a possible reunion is coming. Kyrie is finally admitting that he left pretty much because he wanted to be the man/not be in LBJ's shadow, which was what everyone thought, but what he wouldn't directly admit.

Kyrie wants to be option 1 - if he came here, he'd go back to being option 2.

Kyrie was always the guy I wanted taking Kobe's mantle... never going to happen now but that doesn't mean I'm not hoping for it

Kyrie is that guy who says he wants to be an alpha, but is better suited as a #2. It's like what Carmelo Anthony was: not a leader, but if you put a leader next to him, he can be a difference maker (like when he had George Karl and Chauncey Billups in Denver).

I hope he never does aswell. Kyrie isn't the guy you want to be the 1st option. You take Kyrie to this team and remove Lebron. Kyrie with this team wont sniff a chip nor PO's for that matter. Elite 2nd option on any team.

Kyrie is at $20 mil right now. I don't know what his max is next year, but it seems as if he opted out and came to LA, it looks like fiscally we could do a Big 3 of Kyrie, LBJ and AD.

Give NO Lonzo, BI, Kuz & KCP at this year's deadline.

Kyrie
Hart
LBJ
AD
<scrub big so AD doesn't have to play C>

You would have to sign Kyrie and then trade for AD next season.

Kyrie wanted to be the man on his own team. It's going to take a lot more than an apology to Lebron to make me think he doesn't want to be that anymore.

If he didn't have balky knees, sure.

But kind of helps defeat the notion that LBJ was some sort of team cancer that forced out Kyrie, no? Seems Kyrie has some team chemistry issues wherever he goes though.

If strike out on KD/KL, Kyrie has to be considered, I mean we have a max space to spend
