Grizzlies blew it. I watched the play by play on the nba site, and it was horribly off. It said that Valuncinas fouled out at one point, then he got like 4 more rebounds and made a shot. Then it said Fournier fouled out, but then he hit that game tying shot.
But yeah, Memphis sat Conley with "general soreness". They are all in on the tank apparently. |

Memphis would be smart to try to win as much as possible and convey their pick this year at 8 or higher.
Then trade Conley in the offseason and truly bottom out for a couple of years to add some other young talent around JJJ.
Makes no sense to hold onto the pick this year and give up a higher pick later. They're not going to be able to turn things around anytime soon in the West. |

| With the change in the lottery odds, it looks like tanking has gotten worse. The bottom three or four teams are tanking as hard as ever. But now you have teams eight through twelve looking to start losing far earlier in the season. Increasing their odds might have been a mistake. |

I completely forgot about that scenario, thanks for the reminder.. btw if LeBron is purposely trying to ruin games to drive the tank then I say keep playing him but only for 15-20M. it’s obvious he wants us to get Zion, you can already see how much focus he loses when the game is on the line... |

LeBron slipped on the court at the end of the game. I wonder if they will sit him for “groin” problems going forward. |
