I see 2 winnable games. But both are on road.
Chicago has been playing really good since all star and we playing Knicks on a Sunday morning at 9am after pissing in NY on Saturday night |
I think 2 is the max that may still allow us to snag the #6 spot...win more, and I think the chances are slim. |

| You guys are talking about winning 2 games with Kuzma/BI/Zo out and LeBron likely getting shut down soon, there is a good chance we don’t win another game... we are playing a bunch of G-Leaguers and it’s possible we invite Andre Ingram to help us lose. |

When I run the simulation on Tankathon, I do not even look at the Lakers....I pay attention to the team in the #6 spot.  |

The ironic thing is that Andre Ingram probably could have helped us this year with his 3-pt & FT shooting. |

I think it is pretty good bet that Dallas or Memphis win enough games to pass us in the standings. They play each other 2 more times and each still get PHX.
Dallas also gets NO (so that is a win-win game) & Cleveland. |

As long as they keep playing Luka, there gonna win quite a few games to end the season... the win would have been nice but they are playing regular rotation players, so they will win 30+ games while we barely win like 1 or 2 games. |

Part of me feels like that was a tank move right there. Rick Carlisle is one of the smartest coaches in the league. No way he wouldn't call a timeout there if they were playoff contenders.

It's actually top-5 protected. There's a realistic chance that they could keep the pick, and then next year they get KP back and will have a lot of cap space to add free agents; so giving them the pick next year makes more sense now. If they stay in the 6th spot (they are still 5 games better than Atlanta, who holds the 5th-worst spot), they have a 34.8% chance at a top-4 pick. |

The gap between 5 & 6 is huge tough and not many games left.

I went to check his stats and he's doing terrible in the G-League this year.

I have been thinking 2 games at most to get that 6th spot, but looking at the schedule, and knowing how these bottom dwellers will start getting into "hyper tank mode", I have to think we have to lose out for even a slight outside shot at the 6th spot.
As of now I think it will be pretty much like this...
6th: Mavs 30 wins
7th: Wizards 31 wins
8th: Grizzlies 32 wins
8th: Lakers 32 wins |
