We're catching the Saints on a short week but I'd be very surprised if they aren't ready for Brown on Sunday. Goff will need to play better than he did yesterday.

Goff is starting to show some serious home/road splits, a la Brees or Big Ben.

Hope we don't catch another TRIPLE LUTZ!.

I just hope we get Weddle back for Sunday so he can tell Marcus Peters what coverage they're in. Maybe we can avoid another Mike Thomas incident.

I really don't get how we don't let that go into the end zone. Punt returners have to be better.

Help me here. It was 2nd and 26, with a completed pass of 15-18 yards or so, but an illegal block that (I believe) was 10 yards from the spot of the foul, and then it was 2nd and 21. I would assume the play counted as the ball moved something like 5 yards (going from 2nd and 26 to 2nd and 21). Why did the down not move to 3rd down?

In the end zone three times this half so far, and have a bagel.

The ball was placed 10 yards from the spot of the foul, which explains the distance. And like with most penalties, they repeat the down.

But they also got the yards gained on the play, which isn't normal when the down is replayed and why I was confused.

This is the first time I have noticed this.

Thanks.

I like they're not overloading Todd. He'll be needed later in the year.

I've never seen a team continually get screwed like the Saints. It's getting pretty preposterous. Three games in a row for them with major officiating errors.

I don't like they're going away from the run for long stretches.
