Of the players said to be available now? - Ellington

Curious to see what other players are bought out as well though

Ellington? Christ how many shooting guards we trying to hoard? Kcp, hart, Ingram, Bullock, Stephenson, and now ellington?

It will probably be melo

stephenson and ingram are SF. melo would most likely play stretch 4 next to lebron.

"stretch 4" is that like when they call a big guy, tiny.. or something.

Carmelo plays the same style as Beasley so they could consider it like for like ... without the drama with the coach.

He didn't play well with the Rockets but Melo has a mid range game that doesn't mesh well with the Rockets 3 ball or layups only game

Yeah I thought they would move Beasley. It looks like a done deal.

Lakers will now seriously look at signing Carmelo Anthony, per source.

I want Wes Mathews but it looks like he's heading to Indy. Next choice would be Kanter because of his elite half court scoring that we desperately need because of Luke's trash offense

I would say go after Kanter or Gortat. Please not Carmelo he's another Beasley who I thought was complete trash.

Just hoping he's not going to raise a stink about coming off the bench and Lebron can make his buddy look good as he's done for so many other players.

Hope it’s Melo. There is zero reason to get in the playoffs and get swept by Gsw vs starting to sit LBJ and play Melo big minutes to get a lotto pick. Can’t win the lotto if you don’t play!

Just bring in washed up Melo already. I'm done pretending like it isn't gonna happen. Let's just get it over with.

I'm pretty sure they will discuss his role before bringing him in. Lebron should be able to keep him in check too.

I'm thinking Ellington would be good. We can put the Bron-ball guys with Lebron, Rondo and McGee/Chandler. Let Lonzo run the 2nd unit with the young guys playing at speed.

Rondo, Bullock, Ellington, Lebron, McGee/Chandler.
Ball, Hart, Ingram, Kuz, Muscala/Wagner.

Some also suggested Kanter, that sounds good too.

Rondo, KCP, Bullock, Lebron, Kanter/McGee.
Ball, Hart/Lance, Ingram, Kuz/Wagner, Chandler/Muscala.

So bench 3 of our 4 best guys? Really?

I'm just trying to make sense of everything we've seen during the window... such as, Lebron wants more shooters around him. If you have a better suggestion, glad to hear it.

They are only "guards" not "shooting" guards.

At least Melo seems to have low turnovers and can shoot free throws.

Though maybe it's hard to turn over the ball when you only chuck.
