Well we need a certified BIG and someone to spread the floor...

I hate to think we're putting our eggs in the DeAndre Jordan basket, but if we have to wait and see, then so be it!

Ben McLemore could be a candidate because he was shooting the ball very well early in the season, but IDK if he's the gunner this team needs. He's especially good in the open floor.

Melo, would be for pure nostalgia, getting a fraction of the banana boat crew together, maybe the motivation LBJ needs.

IMO we could waive a few guys and create more roster space, which I truly believe we should do.

IF IF IF we get DJ, then I will be OK with the trading of Zubac.

having said that, do we even know if DJ will be bought out?

Well, it better DJ be bought out abd signed by Wednesday otherwise he can't be included in the playoffs roster.

Don’t want to sound like a prophet cause signing DJ seems unlikely right now but if the Lakers end up essentially Zu/Beasley for Jordan and Muscala that would be a Homerun type deal... right? Jordan is still a Impact player, maybe we should stop panicking on every move the FO makes, I’m pretty sure all there moves are calculated and getting DJ basically gives us a huge edge on the Lakers/Clippers trade and lessens the blow of losing Zu in a significant way.

That was a couple of weeks ago, with the tank race in full swing, the Knicks might prefer to give big minutes to Robinson... Dan Woike already reported that DJ is eyeing a return to the Lakers or Clippers this summer, Knicks aren’t keeping him.

That pneumonia pretty made him ineffective. He hasn't been remotely the same guy since he got it. Losing Lonzo was huge for our defense but Mcgee's drop in play is just as big imo.

McGee is more finesse, DJ likes grabbing rebs and can shoot better FTs, getting Jordan would be great news for those who criticized the Zu trade.

If we somehow manage to get DJ, we need to waive Muscala and sign Jarret Jack, Nick Young, or take a chance on Ben Mclemore. Jodie Meeks would have been the perfect fit next to LeBron but that ship has sailed.

With DJ's his improvement at the FT line. He can take clutch free throws for us to close out games.

I just realised Miloš Teodosić is without a team.
As long as we don't have Lonzo back... He'd be quite good as a backup PG. Weak on D, but otherwise excellent.

He seems to have no interest in the NBA, though.

I think Muscala will have a role on this team. We currently don't have a big man who can space the floor (Mo Wag isn't ready) at the "center" position.

How ready do you need to be to miss a bunch of threes. Because that's what muscala does

He's a 36.5% career 3 point shooter. He'll be fine.

If they want to play on a playoff roster, need to be released/bought out/signed to new team by 3/1.

Chris Webber thinks it will be Melo but after LeBron's postgame comments last night I'm starting to think we may not sign anyone.

LeBron is just supporting his current teammates, that doesn’t mean we won’t bring in any 1 via buy out market.

Well, as you've said in the past, if you make the playoffs, a team gains a ton of gate and other revenue.

So maybe getting a player who can help now at a pro-rated vet's minimum is worth it if that player fills a need to make the playoffs?
