It says there they didn't have a cover of him since the Colorado thing, but they did in '04 with Scoop's cover story (kobe wasn't interviewed).
Nonetheless, sweet looking cover, I'll pick it up |

thats not why i think its a horrible cover. am i the only one that hates snakes? i'm not to fond of the mamaba stuff because of the negative connotation that snakes have.
but oh well, maybe its a femal thing. i would have preferred a nude picture though dagger

| All I have say it's about time damnit.I use yo buy and read SLAM avidly but have lost interest lately and has stop buying the mag but this I'll defitnely pickup.Also has anyone bought or seen the latest issue of Dime Magazine where Kobe wrote that article in the mag himself.I've been to at least 4 Barnes & Noble store and 2 newstand and have been able to find it. |

Snakes are the creepiest things on earth....I fear snakes alot...but I like the cover because it's so different, and afcourse cz its Kobe  |

I don't like it. I'm kinda getting tired of all the "hate me/love me", "killer", "assasin", and "snake" conotations surrounding Kobe. But I guess he will never be the warm and fuzzy type.
Glad he got the cover though. And did anyone notice how the Slam guy was about to diss Kobe's Dime cover story that he wrote, but stopped just short. BTW, that Dime mag is sold out in most places... I had to go to 3 stores to find it. Great read though, everybody should pick it up if they can find it. After reading it I'm happier than ever that this guy is on our team.

That Link guy Lang Whitaker is a Shaq guy, he dissed Kobe at every chance he gets. NO wonder Slam didn't get Kobe on cover in recent 2 years.
Recently afte the close win vs Jazz, and vs Memphis against Mike Miller, Whitaker again bashed Kobe badly. He admitted he hated Kobe. And Slam was stupid not to want the Kobe's own cover story.

I don't know where you are located but I finally got it at Borders in Pasadena, on S. Lake. They had a lot (but this was a couple of days ago). Good luck. |

Kobe's tattoo is the worst one I have ever seen. Just ugly. It makes no sense ,Kobe must get rid of it.

and that is a cheap shot.
Kobe 'came' to us hope kobe didn't do sometihng like that. He didn't need it and doesn't need it now.

nice to see a kob cover again! bout time! like the dime cover better. interested to see the kob interview. russ is known as a sneaker guy so it will be interesting to see if he brings that angle to the interview..russ is not a kob hater either though i would have preferred scoop on this one! ryan jones would not have been bad either!
the mamba thing is ok...but agree with the whole snake connotation...not a good symbol if you ask me!
the tights gotta go and not just on kob...bad fashion stmt!
