They had Malik Sealy remember. Car accident death. Close one. Phills/Petrovic. Bobby Hurley almost died in one outside of ARCO years ago. Ya never know.

There was Bobby Phils too.


My only qualm bout him is that he was racing against another idiot David Wesley when his crash happened. There was another one where D. Coleman was drunk driving and his passenger journeyman player Eldridge Recasner nearly bought it (saving a headstone company the challenge of spelling his name correctly). That, the Phills, and Sealy deaths all clustered tightly together.

edit - Eddie Griffin and Rasual Butler, tho theirs were probably results of negligence in both cases. Griffin had mental health problems, supposedly.

The Phills accident was the one time I can remember that Chick almost lost it on air.
