Another Celtic loss tonight.

Yeah, and their schedule for the next few weeks is brutal. Of course, their losses don't completely erase the concern that grows when the Lakers fail (especially to terrible teams), but their misery certainly helps me enjoy the NBA season a whole lot more.

And beside the two teams described above that I love to see lose for my own selfish purposes, their are some NBA players whose teams that I also watch (via League Pass) in hopes they get beat down solely because of them:

- The Rockets' Harden (I despise the way he goes beyond any other player in creating contact when he shoots the ball).

- The Thunder's PG13 (so you won't even come and meet with your childhood team during FA? I hope your team gets bounced in the first round. Again.).

- The Nuggets' Murray (maybe there is still a grudge for how he acted vs. Lonzo in their first meeting last season, but also I just don't like his rat face).

Hmmm. Now that I take a look at it, now that Lebron is no longer over there I apparently don't root for any other Eastern team to crash and burn other than the Celtics.

Great post and great thread, joe.

Celtics are 12 games over .500. Can't see them missing it, even if they're playing like (bleep) lately

It's still the freaking eastern conference. (bleep), you can go to the playoffs with a losing record.

True. Looking forward to the Sixers, Bucks, or Raptors giving them the treatment Bron used to give them come playoff time though.

Jaylen Brown will save their season. He is better than Ingram and Kuzma

toss-up, PTI style:

what has the better chances of happening – lakers make the playoffs or celtics lose in the first round?

God, Lebron, Billions of Dollars, and ESPN all want the Lakers to play the Warriors in the first round.

Since I first posted this thread the situation for our Lakers this season has become worse.

Well, at least the Celtics lost. They did so by giving up 140 points to the Clippers, the most by Boston to any team in 25 years. This puts me in a good NBA mood today.

the entire NBA media being excited about the possibility of us missing the playoffs has provided a lot of cover for the Celtics falling apart in recent weeks.

Not to mention Kyrie being more weak minded than Durant

I pray Tom Brady retires into a series of failing car dealerships and fast food franchises soon.

Well played Joe, well played.

I agree, hopefully they implode in the first round and head into a summer of turmoil!

They've definitely been shielded by all the negative Laker press. Media all bashing Magic saying he did the young guys dirty. Well the Celtic young guys know they're trade bait too.
