Kirilenko's eyes started to tear in the locker room as he talked in a shaky voice about his frustrations and inability to stop Pierce. He played just four minutes in the final quarter because of his inept defense, but his small consolation was that none of his teammates could do any better. |

He must really not respect Pierce to be moved to tears for not being able to stop him. _________________ "In essence, the trade was: Shaq, Rick Fox and Gary Payton for Odom, Kwame, Mihm, Profit, 2nd round picks, a 1st round pick and 30 million in luxury tax saviings." - LakerJam

He's never been a good man defender, but he's arguably the best help defender in the league. |

That's a pretty soft locker room they got there; remember Ostertag needed counseling (for real!) because he was so distraught after Shaq b-slapped him upside the head before a game a few years ago (when the teams shared a practice court, and the Lakers were walking off as Utah walked on)...
That still ranks as one of my all-time top ten "damn shame there was no camera there" moments. |

That and Charles Oakley supposedly walking up to Jeff McInnis before a game and straight up pimp slapping him and demanding the money Jeff owed him. Oakley is a bad bad man... |
