Do we keep it or swing it for a AD trade? I would only consider trading the pick if it’s in the 8-12 range but if we land at the top 4 the Lakers FO should immediately be fired if they trade the pick for AD especially if we can get someone like Zion.

Draft the best available at the spot we are at. Then use him as a trade asset (unless it's Zion, you keep him).

We should be delighted that we don’t have to worry about losing our pick to a team like the Celtics or Sixers... we are guaranteed to get a pick rather it’s Top 4 or in the 8-15 range and it’s exciting cause this is supposedly a very deep draft.

Currently there are only 8 Teams with a worse record than the Lakers and while I am fully confident that they will continue their downward spiral, I seriously doubt they can sink into the bottom four.

Zion's going first, so unless the Lakers get REAL lucky (wink, wink) I don't see them getting the top pick.

Now, if Irving leaves the Celtics, then I doubt they would ship all their young talent and picks off for AD, so there is a chance that the Lakers can still be in play for AD after this season and having a high draft pick could help seal the AD deal...

Depends where we land, at number 1 we go for ZION. With #4 for example you go for whom ever is still on the board of who you were most impressed by during workouts...

Develop them and trade them in a salary dump after 2 years. If not, include them in every trade rumor for the next 2 years, and then let them walk after their rookie contract.

Why do people want AD? Can he stay healthy a full year? Saying trade you do know means saying good bye to KUZ and lonzo and with magic say bye bye to atleast 2-3 future picks....Why do people want to make the same stupid mistakes the NETS did?

We should have used the pick to dump Deng's salary and moved back in the draft.

Perhaps trading the pick to Cleveland in exchange for the 1st round pick they got from Houston to take on Deng's salary.

Unfortunately our amateur FO waived Deng before it was necessary and now this isn't an option.

The better the pick, the less we have to give to the Pelicans in addition to the pick.

Zion is going #1.

If we get a mid-level draft pick, most likely we will trade him. Keeping a mid-level draft pick who will need years to develop doesn't mesh with Magic's goals.

Draft a center. Make him part of the core.

This Draft is supposed to be very weak after Top 4-5 (I don't know the pool, just from what everyone says). So maybe trading the pick has more value than drafting a role player at best?

In an AD or other star trade maybe we could send this pick and keep a Kuzma or a Josh Hart.

Keep it. Build around Lonzo and Ingram, not LeBron.

I’d be fine trading the pick if we are picking in our current spot.

If we somehow end up in the top 3-4, I’m keeping it and trying and building around zo, Ingram, and the pick.

I’m also keeping kuz and hart.

Y’all really believe LeBron wasn’t promised by Magic he get build his roster and pick his coach? Like LeBron gonna pick BI over AD? Pels owner can’t stand the Lakers and Magic would be under pressure to up The Godfather offer, the farm and this pick is gone. Just hope the FO can sign that max or close to maxFA with the cap space to pair with LBJ-AD, Kyrie I hope or JimmyB but prob overpay for Kemba or Middleton or even Cousin. Hard to see the KD, Klay, Kawhi wanna be a part of LeGM, kinda like PG. This is so sour, there better be a ring in the next 3 seasons

I just saw a mock with us getting DeAndre Hunter. I would NEVER trade this kid. He will be a STUD. He is exactly what we need (elite and versatile defender, slasher, can hit the 3). He is my favorite player in the draft.

I didn't say trade him. Just not work with his timetable.
