Interesting historical perspective. Rob proved himself after Magic was ousted. Landing LeBron was the cornerstone and Magic had a hand in that. For all the downside of Magic as a GM, he did play a part in getting that done.
However, Rob's performance, and that of the scouting staff, landing AD to pair with LBJ and still finding a way to pull together the complimenting players we have now, on the salary limitations we were dealing with, was stellar. |
