They are saying Mihm and George to Golden State, Murphy and Fisher to Utah and Boozer to Lakers. Said he has same agent as Kobe. They are saying this trade could happen on Thursday.

I am watching too and can confirm Peter Vescey said this. He also said it is a long shot but said that it could happen because Utah wants to get rid of Boozer, the Warriors want some cap relief, and the Lakers need a player like Boozer.

I'm good with that trade, most fans don't remember how good Boozer is and once he's back to 100% he is a great PF. A. Bynum will have to start learning real fast.

BTW: Boozer is still a very young player

Go Lakers

Boozer is a punk and his contract has 5 years left on it. No way Jose!

george is playing well for us and boozer is injury prone. plus his contract is HUGE.

we need another guard, not another big.

bad trade if you have to give away Mihm for a bad contract : boozer has to come for expiring contracts ...

We would also kill our bench... unless there is Pietrus...

Vescey said that one of the reasons the Warriors are doing this is to create cap room to keep Pietrus.

Boozer would thrive in the triangle. Post game, 15 footer, sets good screens. I like Mihm but Deavan's days are number and Mihm will never put up 17 and 9.

Good trade for now

Questionable for the longterm.

Folks - Boozer would be a GREAT fit in the Tri 4 spot.

That being said his health and contract can be questioned ....

I've got confirmation from another source that the Lakers were indeed working on a Boozer trade. Perhaps, said person will post here.

George is gone at the end of this year anyway. Also, our 2007 plan is dead. Kwame's third year as been picked up. In the media, the Lakers are just lying when they say the 2007 plan is alive. Boozer isn't that injury prone, he just don't want to stay in Utah. Do you blame him? If we're saving Odom for a summer run at KG or Tmac or someone else, then we don't have much to offer right now. If you want a 17/10 guy, and all you got his Mihm and expiring, you gotta take what you can get. I would see if you could get Deron as well, but its unlikely. I'd offer the same package to Denver for Kmart & Watson. Otherwise, I'd get Boozer.

Boozer has a tweaked hammy, Turiaf has open heart surgery. Turiaf returns before Boozer. All you need to know.

That will be Lionel or Brock. Probably the former.

Boozer is a 17/10 guy. Turiaf isn't getting minutes behind Kwame. All you need to know.

Boozer's already back and playing.

Also - If it came down to Boozer vs Martin - I take Boozer.

Less serious of an injury.
Better Tri fit

But I could live with either.

Whether he'd be a good fit in the tri or not is anyone's guess. Anything is possible on paper. I would have thought Lamar was going to be a good fit in the triangle too, but that hasn't turned out so well. I would be strongly opposed to this deal. Management said they'd only blow up the plan to get below the cap if it's for an impact player. Boozer is a borderline impact player. He won't make the Lakers contenders, just a decent playoff team. I don't want that contract, and I don't want that bad attitude. No to Loser Boozer.
