If that's true then...........DAMN. that's enough to make anyone take a break from bball. It has so many implications. For 9 months he beleived the kid was his. Hopefully its a made up rumor. _________________ "I wish I could draw a picture of the look on their faces..... For a time, it was like he was on the court by himself. I sure hope this doesn't happen, I'd rather have Kmarts gimpy knee over Boozer. Kmart has been to the nba finals twice. |
Not at all. Golden State's problems are deeper. |
biggest problem the warriors have is an amateur ex-college coach trying to gain the respect of professional nba players .... |

I'd take this deal since we are not trading Odom away and we are getting a 4 back. If Odom is traded, I would desire for more like TMac or KG...
Actually I traded for Boozer in my NBA Live, but he didn't make mid range jumpers like he did in real life. High risk trade, but someone has already mentioned, Mihm is replaceable and George will be gone in the summer anyways, why not take a 4, although a lil short at 6'9", and try to make a run this year if he isn't injured? |

I hope Mitch can work some type of Magic and get both Tmac and Boozer. That would totally rock. Question can Mcgrady actually force a trade ala Shaq? And give them specific team that he wants to go to. |

Sky says Mihm must be in.
Ok, but can we at least save George and put in the trade Slava and Mckie ( plus cash to pay his buyout) ?
With Boozer aboard the 2007 plan is dead.
We could keep George and resign him this summer.
Why lose a good bench player when we are thin ? |

all this talk about us sending mihm plus george away for boozer makes me wonder about PJ's comments in the LA TIMES the other day about Bynum having to step up his game...maybe it's because he's warning him that mihms going to be traded and Kwame's going to be moved to the 5 in order to accomodate that Boozer move...allowing Bynum to get more minutes... |

From what I understand, the 07 plan died when the Lakers guaranteed Kwame's 3rd year. _________________ If you meet the Buddha in the lane, feed him the ball. ~Phil Jackson |

DG+Mihm for Boozer is a obvious upgrade and I have no worries about how Boozer will play. Only problem is do you really want a player who faked an injury to get traded? Sure it sounds good if the team is the Lakers, but how long before he starts (bleep) even if he's traded here. In less than a year he wore out his welcome in Utah and had the owner questioning his desire. How long before he this crap starts coming up in LA. I would rather prefer to trade Lamar for Rashard Lewis or Steve Francis. |

What are you talking about...Slava and McKie are the perfect bench players!
Oh wait...you meant that as in players that actually get off the bench. |

I said it because with Boozer would be dead also the 2008 and 2009 plan ...
So, we could re-sign George long-term at a reasonable salary , without using the MLE ( we'd have bird rights). |

Lets be real he's a 13.7 and 9.2 career player. Don't over-exagerate the facts. |
Are you serious!? Analogously, Kobe's a 23 PPG career player and that's even with the fact that he's had more years to boost his low production during his first few years. Career stats don't tell you the whole story especially when it comes to young players. |
All I'm saying is don't over-exagerate the fact and say that he's a 17 + 10. Same reasons you Odom haters jump on people when they say he's a almost "triple double" a night kind of player.
Please people, this guy is not gonna get us to the championship as our PF. Do you guys know who the PF's are on the West? Wake up and face the facts, he is not the guy who will help us to the promise land. |

Let's assume this fascination holds true about Boozer...
Kwame to the "center" postion or "give Bynum more minutes?"

But he is a 17/10, more like a 19/10 before he got injurd and played through it for a while, ok if u want to be statsitcally correct he was a 19/9 player. He was a 10/10, 15/10, 17/9 his first 3 years, how is it overexagerating if those are his legit statsitcs, your agrument makes no sense. |

Boozer over K-mart anyday. A very servicable system player. Let's hope that it's not just the only trade, if any. |

i think a lot of people are being very harsh about Boozer.....this guy can play
also, we need a legitimate 4 and that's what he is - and don't tell me he is undersized, Karl Malone was 6'9 and about the same weight as Boozer and try telling me he was not good as a 4???
Boozer if fit and ready CAN give us around 15 and 8 i would say and importantly 2-3 assits, which is climbing up to around Lamar's all-round game in all honesty
most people at CL or even here at LG (i post mainly at CL) know how much of a fan i am of Chris Mihm's......i have huge respect for this guy and think it is highly ironic just how much love he is getting now on these boards, when i was among a select few at one time to stand up for him
BUT......even if we have to give Mihm + George to get Boozer i can live with that as i seriously think it improves us and Utah is in desperate need of a legitmate C and Mihm will give them that....seems likely to me
all we need in addition is a veteran swingman or PG as well..... |

Boozer's not all bad.
I've always said I didn't wanna give up LO for Boozer.
But the rumor is Mihm and DG.
I'm hestitant to part with Mihm. He's a better C than people give him
credit for and he's cheap.
This is a bold move if we make it because the cap-space plan is out the
window for good.
It would make us instantly better, but is it the best plan for us in the long
run?
I still say I'd at least mention the possible inclusion of Deron Williams even
if that meant us sweetening our side of the pot. |
