I think he is most famous for his early music, but I remember him mostly for the music released during his mid 80's comeback....Take Me Home Tonight, I Wanna Go Back and Walk on Water.

Damn, I thought that said Eddie Murphey for a second.
I know Money had been having some health issues. Sorry to hear he wasn't able to overcome them.

it crossed my mind also
Take Me Home Tonight is one of those great songs to play loud when you are driving on a crisp mild temperature night on a road that allows you to get some speed....preferably close enough to the coast where you can smell a hint of the ocean....letting loose on the Ronnie Spector lines if you are alone....

Never heard any of his songs other than "Take Me Home."
They're 70s songs, but Take Me Home is old too. You've probably heard some of either of these at some point. Walk On Water and Shakin were a couple other moderate hits for Ed. Think I'm In Love another. He had his daze, but too bad, RIP. These 70s/80s musicians are of that age.
