A rehashed unemployed head coach. I don't think the current FO or Bron are ones to think out of the box with coaching hires. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

I would like to see Ettore Messina have a shot, but I think it’ll probably be THIBS (closest to the Pat Riley—a no-nonsense disciplinarian/grinder). |

Slim picking. I don't like any of the currently available options. Should just have Lebron coach the team. I'm more interested in if someone with experience could come in as team president and save this franchise from free falling.

Giannis said Jason Kidd helped him develop into a dominant player so I'm good with Kidd if he can help develop Zo and Ingram. |

anybody hear David Griffin on the Sedano show yeasterday? Jorge asked him about two of Ty Lues best qualities:
1) Holding Lebron accountable
2) Play calling after timeouts.
I was never struck by Lues playcalling, but maybe i wasn’t playing close enough attention. i wonder what numbers Cranjis has on him. |

I'de be okay with either Lue or Jackson.
I wanted the Lakers to consider Ty Lue before he got the Cle job. Phil used to speak very highly of his lockeroom presence when he was a player. Doc Rivers loved him. He was a very experienced assistant and a great communicator.
Mark Jackson breathed life into a Warriors team that had some young talent waiting for guidance. What he did was finally get that franchise to buy into defense. They might have gotten to the conference finals the year before he was fired, at least, if Bogut hadn't gotten hurt. The stories that came out about him, from what I recall, had little to nothing to do with his ability to coach and had more to do with his relationship with ownership. Jackson's players never had anything bad to say about hi |

I saw Avery Johnson is getting bought out by Alabama
. I hope the Lakers don’t consider him. |

Great list OP.
Probably a coach with championship experience. Otherwise Lebron won't respect them. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |
