Just typing this as he's on Mike & Mike, for the sake of passing it along.
ESPN "Insider" Chris Broussard reporting on what moves may or not
take place by the 12-noon PST deadline today.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Asked what the Knicks are doing, CB says basically that Isiah keeps
adding talent - but has done so without regard to talent, chemistry, work
ethic, intangibles, etc. No mention of this move being a precursor to
another trade (moving Francis or Starbury immediately, packaging Francis
for KG, etc).
Mentioned that Jamal Crawford is the most likely of their guards to be
moved. Says Theo and Miles unlikely on their radar after the Francis
trade.
Golic mentioned that 4 deadline-day trades happen on the average each
year over the last 6 years.
Denver trying to move K-Mart, but unlikely they'll find takers with his
contract and health concerns.
Portland looking to move Ruben.
Denver likely to find takers for Watson and/or Vashon Lenard.
Miami might move Walker or Williams.
Seattle might move Reggie Evans and/or Flip Murray.
Iverson and KG may be moved, but not until summer.
Expects Knicks to compete for both Iverson and KG, but laughed at the
idea as he said it.
Said that either Kevin McHale or Kevin Garnett will be gone by the start
of next season from Minny.
No mention of the Lakers by the hosts or CB.
Sorry there wasn't more info, I know most of that is what we already know.
Just posting it to pass it along |
