Maybe you value defense? No one else here seems to. |
If you want Avery Bradley or Pat Beverley over Steph or Dame... that's your right.
I'm wondering who do you think of the top ten point guards is considered a great defender now that CP3 is getting old? |

I never mentioned Bradley or Beverly, you did. Steph is a much better defender than Lillard, he actually tries. Why do you try to put words in other posters mouths? _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

I get your point now... it's just that I don't think of any of the great PGs as good defenders.
It's frustrating to me how people excuse Lonzo's offense when although I agree he has potential... he has to score much more efficiently before his defense is worth the poor offense. |

DAME had one of the most amazing NBA moments and playoff games
watching Thunder sulk off of the court was icing on the cake
playoffs have arrived guise |

Steph is garbage defensively, and that's proven whenever he actually has to check a real option, assuming a team can catch him in a switch and not get Klay/Iggy/Durant/Green. He tries for sure, but he's not very good at it. |

Yeah...Blazers are the enemy. Its fun to see a Laker traitor get owned, but we can stop with the Blazers/Lillard love now. |

No sorry can't. They need to crap on the Nuggets next. And if they pull that off, I want them to crap on Houston/Warriors. Oh god, I'm rooting for Blazers _________________ I love my Lakies |

I loved watching PG13 get kicked out the playoffs in epic fashion with his BFF ruining their chances down the stretch but I must admit the refs had a heavy hand in this one.
The Westbrook charge that reversed a AND-1 situation was huge and I dont think that was the right call.
The Westbrook loose ball foul on that rebound was very ticky tack especially that late in the game.
But then the refs let alot of contact from the Blazers go down the stretch that could have easily been shooting fouls.
Either way I didnt see OKC winning this series even if they won this one. _________________ (bleep) Kawhi |

Not salty at all - Was glad to see PG beat. But I'm not confused about which team I root for. You think Blazers fans weren't thrilled to see the trainwreck our team was this year? |

I am very far from a Portland fan. They just happen to have one of the players that I love in the league. Im hoping they lose in the 2nd round...just happy Lillard gave it to PG and the Thunder. |

That's because we beat them in the playoffs like 5 straight years in the late 90s / early 2000s and they will never forget lol. Most non Laker fan bases hate us. We can still appreciate a great performance especially when they beat someone we are currently salty over. |

Of all the teams left in the playoffs, I'd rather have Portland win it all over every team except the bucks. Below are the ranks above the following of teams of who I'd like to win it all (in order of who i'd hate to win the most to lowest):
Boston
Golden State
Spurs
Nuggets
Rockets
Toronto
Sixers
Jazz

My schadenfreude list:
1. Boston (let's go Bucks!)
2. OKC (DONE)
3. Houston _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Ouch but true:
Quote: | It's been three years since Kevin Durant severed his partnership with Westbrook and fled to Oakland. In that time, Westbrook has set fire to the record books, made triple-doubles routine, claimed a Most Valuable Player award and accomplished virtually nothing for his franchise.
The Thunder have yet to crack 50 wins in the Westbrook era—not even this season, with Paul George making his own MVP run. The Thunder have yet to win a playoff series in the Westbrook era. Their postseason record: 4-12.
"He's a transcendent player," a veteran Western Conference executive said, "but I'm not convinced he's a transcendent winner." |

He's a glorified stat padder. It's been clear now, for the 3rd straight year |

Westbrook just arrived in the wrong era of basketball. He would've been glorified way more in the 90s, where his style of play was viewed more favorably. Now that everyone knows better and can somewhat quantify the things that actually contribute to sustained winning basketball, he's looked at as a fraud, which is both fair and a tiny bit unfair. He's (and Harden, too) pretty much the spiritual successor to Kobe, but not nearly as efficient a scorer and at a time where ISO ball is frowned upon. |

Naw, both Harden/Westbrook style of play are selfish and hard to watch. Dame/Pre-injury Rose are the true successors. I just like guys that keep a cool and calm demeanor who end teams in clutch moments |

Rose had like one good year on top, I don't understand why people are still talking about him. But to be fair, we never know what he would've become if injuries didn't take his knees and confidence. |
