Ouch but true:

It's been three years since Kevin Durant severed his partnership with Westbrook and fled to Oakland. In that time, Westbrook has set fire to the record books, made triple-doubles routine, claimed a Most Valuable Player award and accomplished virtually nothing for his franchise.

The Thunder have yet to crack 50 wins in the Westbrook era—not even this season, with Paul George making his own MVP run. The Thunder have yet to win a playoff series in the Westbrook era. Their postseason record: 4-12.
"He's a transcendent player," a veteran Western Conference executive said, "but I'm not convinced he's a transcendent winner."

I really do not get why PG13 choose WB over Lakers/LA/LBJ.

Might have a hard time saying no. So that, plus Westbrook's strong personality made him stay out of some misguided sense of loyalty.

Westbrook just arrived in the wrong era of basketball. He would've been glorified way more in the 90s, where his style of play was viewed more favorably. Now that everyone knows better and can somewhat quantify the things that actually contribute to sustained winning basketball, he's looked at as a fraud, which is both fair and a tiny bit unfair. He's (and Harden, too) pretty much the spiritual successor to Kobe, but not nearly as efficient a scorer and at a time where ISO ball is frowned upon.

Naw, both Harden/Westbrook style of play are selfish and hard to watch. Dame/Pre-injury Rose are the true successors. I just like guys that keep a cool and calm demeanor who end teams in clutch moments

Harden's style isn't selfish. He has no issues coming off the ball.

Agreed. Ball dominant =/= selfish. Harden shoots 30 times a game because it's in the best interest of his team to do so, Westbrook shoots 30 times because it's in his own best interest (stats).

Yeah...Blazers are the enemy. Its fun to see a Laker traitor get owned, but we can stop with the Blazers/Lillard love now.

No sorry can't. They need to crap on the Nuggets next. And if they pull that off, I want them to crap on Houston/Warriors. Oh god, I'm rooting for Blazers

Maybe it was choosing against Magic and Pelinka? I wouldn't willingly go to a team run by those bozos.

Yall so salty. Hahahahahahahah

Lets go blazers lol

Not salty at all - Was glad to see PG beat. But I'm not confused about which team I root for. You think Blazers fans weren't thrilled to see the trainwreck our team was this year?

Ok I gotcha, but no Lakers in playoffs, so I gotta root for my boy Dame and blazers

Don't know why he didn't figure something was wrong, for the simple fact KD and Harden took off.

Man these low efficiency chuckers...Mitchell, DLO, Trae Young are really hard to watch when they have a bad night. Mitchell has been awful.

For me, I acknowledge that Dame is good.
But I have this ability to be able to not like a player despite their greatness Hi Lebron pre-Lakers.

My main issues with him:
1. He's a Blazer. I hated them when they had Porter/Drexler/Robinson, I hated them when they had Rasheed/Grant/Sabonis, I hated them when they had Bonzi, I hated them when they had Roy/Jack, I hated them when they had LMA. And I'll hate them Simons becomes a star
2. Not a fan of the Dame time wrist thing. Why dont you make Dame time be all the time so that you never lose a game?
