I love Giannis, but SDSU Aztec legend Kawhi Leonard is outplaying him pretty obviously in this series. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

Absolute tool. One of the worst arguments he's ever made and that is saying something. |
Skip is just a professional troll/entertainer. If people are reacting to his comments then he did his job well. It’s good for ratings when he adamantly sticks to his position and has some personality. Skip isn’t going to be humble and admit he was wrong. That makes for boring television.

It hasn’t been easy for Giannis, or Irving, or even Kawhi because his team BARELY got by the Sixers.
The West isn’t much either. Denver is the #2 seed and what’s so special about them? Portland is #3 and the Warriors just toyed with them. |

The Cavs didn’t play enough defense and without Irving they weren’t going to outscore the Warriors. And last year was clearly the weakest Cavs team. |

Giannis lacks the meanness of playground/hood basketball
Someone tell him not to become another Dwight Howard |

I guess I assumed the Cavs would have picked up some players off waivers.
And if the Warriors had to play Lebron, I just felt it would be Lebron punishing Steph and Steph wouldn't be as effective as he has been this year. |

IKR! Lol, he's still so butt hurt that Kawhi left the Spuds. Hell hath no fury like a woman or Skip Bayliss scorned. |

Comparing Skip to a woman is an insult to women everywhere. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

Lol, true. Even Beadle has gotten over Kawhi leaving. Although, she may jump back on the Kawhi-hating wagon if he joins us since she's a total Laker-hater. |

Dumb move by who? You can't force a team to trade you a player when they don't want to. |

Lets ask how the the (bleep) they didn't include Siakam in that trade package. We all know Demar is not that great along with Poetl and a late first round pick is garbage. Fans should be angry they got nothing from that trade |

How can SAS ask for Siakim, when Kawhi was a potential one year rental? |

Why not? You try and get the best deal possible. No matter the team. He would have been an alright replacement if Leonard wanted out. |

You're being kind. He's owning him. Someone in another board posted the defensive #'s and Kawhi's has held him to his lowest points per 100 possessions when matched up. _________________ KOBE |

Maybe I'm not understanding what you're saying.
You think the Spurs should have gotten Siakim right? On top of the trade? Or as a replacement piece? |

You have to think wrong. |
Name the player on the Raptors you consider better than Aldridge. |

Kahwi is an absolute monster... We need to offer a job to Uncle Dennis or whatever his name is, VP for Basketball Operations, a ceremonial title so long as Kahwi is a Laker. Even include his sister, PR post in social media. Gotta hire the whole family if need be. Jeannie claims to value family, here's her chance |

So happy the Spurs messed that up...and oh they did.
Kawhi is the most dominant perimeter player in the league and it's not even close.
He's like Jordan with a 3pt shot. It's pretty crazy. Not quite the passer but you saw the last game, he can do it if he wants. |

This. As I recall the news on this went like this: Lakers interested. Spurs say they will demand the moon. Lakers in talks. Spurs say they will never trade him to the Lakers. That is then slightly altered to "we need a star-caliber player in return."
In other words, if that was true, it was a bar we could not reach. None of our kids were star-caliber players at the time. That limited Spurs options to teams who had stars they were willing to move. Enter DeMar DeRozan. |
