Johnny was enrolled at USC as a drama major for a while. Jim majored in math at USC before dropping out. Jeanie was a business major, graduated from USC with honors. Janie graduated from CS Dominguez Hills.

No idea if any crew coaches were ever involved during Jimmy’s application to USC.

lol looks like Janie is the only one who was legitimately admitted into a university

She's the only one of the bunch that has exceeded all expectations.

Big Joe always used to say that Janie was the only decent Buss kid.

Big Joe?

Yes, he was tight with the Buss family.

Could’ve brought Jerry West in 3 months ago before free agency.

Yes please sell the team. You don't bring Jerry (bleep) West into the fold because of some personal animus?

Yep time to sell the team.

I don't think Jerry would've made much of a difference for us, tbh, but not because of him. He wouldn't have an owner like Ballmer willing to invest what he did to overhaul the entire organization from top to bottom. He wouldn't have someone like Lawrence Frank to handle the day-to-day affairs. No Doc Rivers, no Lee Jenkins, etc., etc.

He'd have Jeannie, Jason Kidd, and Kurt (bleep) Rambis.

Basically, Jeannie hiring him wouldn't make a difference because she and her cronies would still be in the damn picture.

Getting Anthony Davis was huge and with he and LeBron we should still have a terrific ball club. But let’s be very clear, we have those two guys because that’s what LeBron and Rich Paul wanted. Unfortunately for us, Kawhi Leonard is not represented by Klutch Sports.

I’ve read a lot of silly gobbledygook in here for a number of years of why we don’t need Jerry West. Well, he’s only the best hoops exec in existence and we have Jeanie, Rob and The Rambii.

Live and learn.

West would've helped. But I don't think Kawhi wanted to play with Bron. Even though Clippers have a great roster. Still isn't as good as if Kawhi came here and formed a big 3.

But still Ballmer wouldn’t have the Logo.

If Jerry West was here, I don't think that would be the FO, but I hear you. It is much too dysfunctional for Jerry West. Jerry chose the clippers though to out do them, while being in LA. Man oh man.

Jeannie refusing Jerry West when he wanted to come back to the Lakers was Jeannie at her worst. He's a Laker legend, every bit as much so as any Showtime Laker. Much more so than Byron Scott, or Kurt Rambis for that matter.

It’s not like Jerry won Kawhi over with his charm and charisma. They got Kawhi only because they were willing to gut their franchise for Paul George.

Gotta tip your hat to the logo, he just delivered 2 MVPs to the Clippers (Clippers!)

I adore Jerry West and have so much respect for his talent. I would send Jeannie straight to a gulag for the rest of her life if but for 1 week of Jerry back in the Lakers' war room.

Yep - Jerry engineered it. Some people said he was too old or wont be involved. He just finessed the Clippers, the freaking Clippers, into best team in the league.
