I think Simmons is considerably more talented on both ends.

I'd personally disagree with this. When it comes to number or on paper, i can see why simmons would appear to be better. But I think Odom was a rare talent that is maybe a little under the radar. I'd say he's a far more talented rebounder than Simmons, and much more polish to his game. His versatility also. Better body as well IMO for basketball, although Simmons is a big strong dude. I think those that prefer Kobe over Lebron would similarly prefer Odom over Simmons.
