If you (and I'm going to use this as a stand in for several people in this thread) don't understand why this is not only inaccurate but reprehensible, I suggest you figure that out before you comment on subjects like this again. Kelly was an athlete as well. You can't state that he is 6'8" and then not look at the fact that this is not some little woman. For godsake - take a look at her. She is very attractive and also very tall for a woman. That doesn't mean she couldn't be raped or assaulted - but the odds go down considerably - wouldn't you say. -- Some of you lack common sense.

You're talking about when the Luke assault allegedly happened. The OP was talking about when the news broke.

I’m not sure you understand the level of nonsense this is. Comparing Men and Women physically is usually favoriting the Man. Add the fact that man is probably 75lbs stronger and 5-6 inches taller. Now add the fact he’s a Professional athlete, His Physicality and strength dwarf hers. Common sense?
I see you skipped over the fact that 5’2 women aren’t assaulted by 5’8 men. Your post was insensitive and accusatory while making points based on nothing but your warped opinion. I’m a father of 2 Daughters myself(both athletes at a young age 15-8) and I also coach boys. The difference in strength and power is massive and my Daughters are both freaky strong and athletic.
I’m not here to debate Man vs. Woman, however I will say that saying she is a former athlete and 6’2 is about a piss poor reason for her not being assaulted as you could find.
I don’t wish this on anyone but if someone any of us knew was attacked or assaulted and the woman was 6’0 and the perp was 5’9 would you dismiss it because “Look at her” common sense my friend.

Lot's of high horse riders here. Again - my wife was assaulted - I have family members who were assaulted. KT was not. She was in an uncomfortable situation at best. Many of you blur the lines between rape and workplace coercion and the like. Trying to be some knight in shining armor - does not take away from the fact that this woman is looking for money. Not justice -- money.
Add to that -- do you think a predator would be looking for someone who could defend themselves? That's not saying it's impossible - but less likely -- that's all -- add to the fact that LW is in the public eye and she could ruin his reputation by stating things like this.

Sure size can be a factor. Whether we're talking about assaulter or the victim.
But a woman 6'2'' in height can be assaulted. Whether it's 6'8" Luke Walton or someone smaller than 6'2''.
Not saying he did it. Not saying she's lying. We don't know.

I’m not sure you understand the level of nonsense this is. Comparing Men and Women physically is usually favoriting the Man. Add the fact that man is probably 75lbs stronger and 5-6 inches taller. Now add the fact he’s a Professional athlete, His Physicality and strength dwarf hers. Common sense?
I see you skipped over the fact that 5’2 women aren’t assaulted by 5’8 men. Your post was insensitive and accusatory while making points based on nothing but your warped opinion. I’m a father of 2 Daughters myself(both athletes at a young age 15-8) and I also coach boys. The difference in strength and power is massive and my Daughters are both freaky strong and athletic.
I’m not here to debate Man vs. Woman, however I will say that saying she is a former athlete and 6’2 is about a piss poor reason for her not being assaulted as you could find.
I don’t wish this on anyone but if someone any of us knew was attacked or assaulted and the woman was 6’0 and the perp was 5’9 would you dismiss it because “Look at her” common sense my friend. |

She may very well be looking for a payout but your premature conclusion and flawed reasoning for coming to that conclusion is what is riling people up. |

My wife was raped and sexually assaulted, so I don’t think you should make such brazen statements. It’s tasteless. Sadly, if you were to talk to many women they would say they were at some point in their life sexually assaulted. I’m not on a high horse, don’t know what happened and I won’t judge till then. If what she says is true. That’s assault. Period. If she’s out for money, then that’s a crime in my eyes as well. I’m not blurring any lines whatsoever.. I was responding to your definitive stance on what happened and using appearance and stature as a way of determining if it was true or false.
The press conference looked bad. The eye test to me wasn’t very good. My initial thought was this is very deliberate and a charade. I had to stop. I realized I was jumping the gun because of my perception of Luke. He seems like a good guy. I have friends that are good guys that have done some dumb things, I’m sure we all do. My whole point was, who knows wth happened and let’s wait for this to play out instead of playing Matlock and saying she couldn’t have been assaulted because she was a middle blocker and is 6’2.

Trump made comments on tape regarding sexually assaulting a woman and explained it as locker room talk... maybe this is why people talking about Trump. Nothing to do with Obama being black or have a muslim name. |
