This is a joke.

what is a joke is you telling people what they should protest about.

people protest about ridiculous things all the times.

It is called the freedom of speech.

Sport fans are passionate people.

Look at other cities. Some of their fans are more crazy than Los Angeles fans.

I wish them luck on their protest.

Maybe it will get the necessary attention.

absolutely nothing will come from this.. completely pointless imo.. The most it will do is create a 10 second segment on a sports show where they make fun of the Lakers just a bit more and then never talk about it again.

If there are people willing to spend their time protesting, please do so. I wouldn't join, even if I lived in LA, though.

I don’t think this is as stupid or pointless as y’all are making it out to be. Jeanie HATES negative PR (see her “fake news” comment about the AD rumors). Frankly she’s got her head so deep in the sand it wouldn’t shock me if fans’ current discontentment came as a surprise to her.

Just because people have the freedom to do this protest, doesn’t change that it’s silly and childish. Lol.

I don't think people are mad that we didn't sign lue, it's that kurt and linda rambis are making the decisions

Well that is, of course, a mistake. Jeanine needs better basketball people
around her for sure. I've said that on other post.

How do the Rambi's out weigh the Buss's and Rob is confusing for all of us.

The very nice thing about this idea of protesting is that;

a- you feed ESPN with more hateful ideas about the Lakers

b- FA's are watching that crap and pre-deciding not to come

So basically by putting on a show for ESPN, we doom the franchise
further and further from becoming a force.
Oh wait, sell the franchise? No going to happen because the Buss
kids and company have revenue coming from the very nice TV contracts
daddy signed before he left us.

Bottom line, you put on this show and we the fans are the most impacted
for years to come.

Ok how about this... you show up to the “protest” and get your attention - at best being mocked on tv, and I’ll vpn into my cozy remote gig, and stack this paper...

I’ll leave the judgement to those with the headspace to figure out whose time is a joke. Enjoy your endeavors good sir.

No one is suggesting you don’t have the legal right to protest the Lakers. But just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should.

Let’s leave protests for only the most egregious acts that caused you or other true suffering or damage.

But for fun, what would one chant?

“Hey hey, ho ho, Jeannie and the Rambii got to go, hey hey, ho ho”??

So be it.

IMO, this thing needs to absolutely burn to the ground for it to improve in the long run. I do not have faith in Jeanie or the Rambis family to make informed decisions about the org that do not also reflect personal self interest

I wonder if the Rambis Family includes their 3 children?

Jesse Rambis (son)
Ali Rambis (daughter)
Jordan Rambis (son)
