No poll. I'd just thought I'd leave this open to the field.

For me, the following:

Giannis Antetokounmpo
Damian Lillard
Nikola Jokic
Kawhi Leonard
Tyson Chandler
Kyle Lowry
DeMar DeRozan
Josh Hart
Shaun Livingston

Lowry? He acts like he's 3x better than what he really is.

Not Josh Hart. He is one of the biggest complainers in the league to the officials, and that's saying something.

Already started liking Jokic after seeing him these playoffs. But last night he was clearly fouled and didn't complain about it, just ran back on defense. He may be my new favorite player.

IMO:

Draymond Green-- Scrappy blue-collar player who has all-star level impact despite limited talent

Russell Westbrook-- Plays with incredible passion, intensity, and energy every night and puts up ridiculous statlines.

James Harden-- Crafty one man offensive wrecking crew. Relies on superior basketball IQ instead of athleticism.

Jamal Murray-- One of the most exciting young guards in the league. Is honest and not afraid to speak his mind. Fearless clutch performer.

D'Angelo Russell-- Ice in his veins. Enough said.

Patrick Beverly-- Another scrappy blue collar play who has made a career as a lockdown defender despite limited talent. Always hustling.

Kevin Durant-- Humble and incredible to watch on offense.

Jimmy Butler-- Refreshing to see a player play with such intensity on both ends of the floor. Strong determination to win.

Blake Griffin-- So fun to watch this guy dunk. Can you say lob city?

Chris Paul-- One of the best PGs ever IMO. Beautiful passer.

LeBron James-- Dude is one of the best to ever do it and even if you don't like him, it's a privilege to watch him play. Has also had amazing off the court impact in various communities.

I sense a Cranjis McBasketball stat coming soon to measure this. PEPM - "Positive Emotion Plus/Minus," or something like that.

Giannis- star of the league right now and for the foreseeable future. Is here to win, not make friends.

Jimmy Buckets- truly great 2 way player. Intense alpha type. Incredible story. If we can’t get Kawhi, would love if he came to the Lakers.

Beverly - got that dog in him. Excellent and pesky defender.

Sweet Lou - so damn smooth.

BI - I still think he has the potential to be great. Hope he can get and stay healthy. He’s gotta start proving he can do it with consistency now but that 10 game stretch or so before he went down shows what he’s capable of. Has to show it this year though or I’m gonna start losing hope.
