Zo and Kyrie would be a great combo. Zo can still be the transition PG and Kyrie the SG while in the half court Kyrie can operate in the PnR. Zo defends the best guard and he would be the rebounding guard while Kyrie fills the wing for the outlet.

I think Kyrie would be a slightly better Bryce Alford. And Lonzo and Bryce did really well together in college, where Lonzo played some off ball. Lonzo also got to play offball when Aaron Holiday got in the game and did well.

But off course, college defenses are different from the NBA and it's harder to get behind the defense offball in the NBA.

Nah. Alford is way better than Kyrie.

Yea it's debatable. But I lean a little bit more towards Kyrie. I think his handles are better.

Alford, the guy playing in the G-League right now for OKC is better than Kyrie Irving?

Then why the hell haven't we signed him yet?

We could get him for 10x less than Kyrie's contract and still have room to go after another star FA!

Dammit Pelinka!

I've gotta say, Lebron's social media troll game is fire.

Dan Gilbert has seen Kyrie leave a team before, maybe he knows what it looks like:

https://sports.yahoo.com/dan-gilbert-cavs-killed-it-with-kyrie-irving-trade-expects-pg-to-bolt-boston-041236428.html

Quote:

Gilbert: ‘Kyrie will leave Boston’
And he believes from what he sees now that Irving fully intends to leave the Boston Celtics in free agency.

I don’t know, but I think Kyrie will leave Boston,” Gilbert said.

Dan Gilbert isn't the only one who expects Kyrie Irving to leave the Celtics.

Gilbert: Cavs ‘killed it’ with Irving deal
The Cavs dealt Irving to the rival Celtics in 2017, believing that he intended to leave at the end of his contract that expires this summer and wanting to net something in return.

They received a broken-down Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic and a 2018 first-round draft pick that turned into Collin Sexton for Irving. They later traded Thomas, Channing Frye and their own first-round draft pick to the Los Angeles Lakers for Larry Nance Jr. and Jordan Clarkson.

Faced with the prospect of seeing Irving eventually walk in free agency, Gilbert had high praise for general manager Koby Altman for making the Irving deal.

“We could have ended up with nothing,” Gilbert said. “Looking back after all the moves Koby made, we killed it in that trade.”

The people who say Kyrie left the Cavs because of Lebron don't understand how dysfunctional the Cavs FO is. It was never because he hates Lebron. Lebron left first and only returned because of legacy reasons and Kyrie, Kyrie left as well, Lebron left again, if they get another star in the draft they'll leave at some point too.

Hope Kyrie comes here because I don't see us getting Kawhi

That doesn't bode well for us given our FO makes GOT look like a kindergarten sandbox fight.

Dan Gilbert is legitimately the cheapest owner in the NBA. He tried to hire Billups to be President of basketball operations for 1.5 million a year. The low end of the spectrum is 4 million, Magic Johnson in the same position was rumored to be paid 10 mil a year and Gilbert offered 1.5

David Griffin, Lebron's pal, left the Cavs because he wanted a raise. He was one of the lowest paid GMs in the league, at under 2 mil a year.

I have zero respect for Gilbert.

C'mon man, what on God's green Earth are you talking about....Kyrie absolutely left because of lebron and the Cavs had the highest payroll for years when lebron was there. Don't make stuff up.

But that's the premise for about 90% of the stuff posted on this site!!

ESPN's George Sedono is the worst in the LA sports media, by far.

Jalen Rose likes to play the contrarian just for TV's sake. I ignore 90% of what he says. Most of ESPN, outside of a few, is TMZ in disguise.

Sedano has said he’s a Heat fan. Idk why he has an LA radio show and talking about Lakers.

I read in a celtics blog that the celtics might consider doing a s and trade with Russell to get Irving.

Lebron constantly seen with almost all Max Free agents like Kyrie, Kawhi, KD, Jimmy Butler. Recruiting them?

Are we gonna be surprised they are cooking something like what Lebron, Wade, Bosh does with Miami Heat?

Planning planing something like that, a new Big 3 sans AD because he is still under contract.

Yea there would have to be some initiative for the Nets to do that right? Could it be to be able to sign a player they want and then do the S&T for the most cap flexibility?

We should have hired Lue and then we basically would be the Cavs.

Read that Kyrie was not a big fan of Lue's.
