Yes

Rob/#32/Jeanie didn’t think he surrounded himself with a good experienced staff.

Am I the only one who sees the irony in that statement?

Definite Game of Zones material.....

Tyronn Lue and Lakers management reportedly disagreed on Jason Kidd

The Lakers reportedly wanted Tyronn Lue to hire Jason Kidd, but he wasn’t on board with the idea.

According to a person close to the Lakers management, through the negotiation process the Lakers developed concerns about Lue’s fit with the organization. Part of those concerns stemmed from Lue’s disagreement with the Lakers about who would be on his staff. While they agreed on Vogel, they disagreed on Jason Kidd, whom the Lakers insisted he include. They also balked at Lue’s counter to the three-year deal the offered.

So the Lakers gave up Lue / Vogel for Vogel / Kidd.

Lue is not a big deal, Vogel- Lue? Whichever...

Yep. I think I prefer that. Hopefully it’s being done as an investment in Lonzo.

I think they wanted Lue/Vogel/Kidd.

When Lue refused the contract length and potentially Kidd on his staff, they went with Vogel/Kidd and insert whoever Vogel and Rambii hand picks.

When Lue countered (if true), they essentially had to make that choice. Lue or Kidd + saving some $$. They went with Kidd.

Frank Vogel and Rob Pelinka are scheduled to address the media today at 11 a.m. at Vogel's introductory press conference. Jeanie Buss is not scheduled to address the media today or this week. We'll see if Magic's interview changes anything on that front.

What allegations?

Magic pretty much confessed everything.

Magic didn't want to put in the work or show up to the office every day but still wanted to be head decision maker.

Magic made all the (bleep) decisions like getting rid of Brook Lopez, trading Lou Williams, letting go of Randle, trading Zubac and offering everyone for AD.

As soon as other people got involved in decision making (maybe over Magic's questionable choices), Magic said "it's not fun anymore, I'm leaving"

Not sure what else is there to say other than IF Magic was originally only supposed to be a part-time employee, maybe Jeanie or Magic should've told Pelinka that from the beginning.

BTW, what kind of ridiculous organization has the guy who you have to run decisions through be AWOL most of the time? How do you expect things to get done?

Pelinka: "We aren't going to comment on Magic's interview. It's important for us to get back to working hard towards our goal and move on from any kind of discord in the Front Office. With that said, I'd like to introduce our fourth choice for head coach, Frank Vogel!"
